888 unveils Ben Hurst as new VP of North American Market Expansion

On Tuesday, leading betting firm 888 Holdings announced Ben Hurst as its new Vice President of North American Market Expansion.

888 owns several renowned brands in the sports betting market, such as William Hill, Mr Green, and 888sport itself. It also owns the SI casino and sportsbook brands, per its US partnership with Authentic Brands Group (ABG).

Hurst has years of experience has years of experience in the digital, sports, and entertainment industries. Over the past year, he has worked with 888 as an independent consultant in addition to other companies in the betting and AI spaces.

Hurst was previously Head of Digital and Senior Vice President at Madison Square Garden Sports & Entertainment. During his time there, Hurst managed digital initiatives for the company’s list of brands and properties, including Radio City, the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, The Beacon Theatre, MSG, and others.

Hurst also previously worked with Paramount Global as the Senior Vice President, Mobile/Emerging Platforms and Digital Partnerships. There, he managed the digital mobile divisions of renowned brands like MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, Logo, CMT, TV Land, and Paramount Network.

Howard Mittman, President of 888 US, revealed that he was pleased with the new addition and was exceedingly confident of Hurst’s abilities.

Having worked with him over the last year or so as a consultant, I have full confidence that his knowledge of the industry, and of our company, makes him the perfect leader to help continue to grow our US business for the future,” Mittman said in a statement.

As part of the North American executive team, Hurst will aid in 888’s ongoing bid to expand its footprint in the US and Canadian gambling markets.
