NFL Week 9 tips – free parlay & teaser tips for every match
So, as we approach the halfway point of the NFL season the LA Rams remain the lone unbeaten team.
All of the divisions besides the NFC West, which the Rams are in, are all pretty wide open with a lot of teams vying for a playoff spot.
BettingPlanet I was 9-5 last week against the spread for betting tips and have delivered a bevy of betting options again.
Oakland Raiders vs. San Francisco 49ers (-2.5) O/U 45.5
The Raiders and 49ers have combined for two wins and while the Raiders are a mess the 49ers are just biding time until their franchise quarterback returns from injury. Oakland has started to clean house and they are not done making moves. In the battle of the Bay Area the 49ers will win and cover the spread.
Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings (-4.5) O/U 49
Both the Lions and Vikings are coming off a loss and last season they split the two games facing each other with the road team winning both times. The Lions traded away their top wide receiver in Golden Tate and that spells trouble for a team in the heart of their division race. The Vikings will win and cover in this game at home and stay in the NFC North race sending Detroit to two games under .500.
Kansas City Chiefs (-8) vs. Cleveland Browns O/U 51
The Chiefs only have one loss while the Browns only have two wins, have lost three in a row, and they recently fired their head coach and offensive coordinator. This game could get ugly quick with the offense the Chiefs have and they will win and cover in this game even on the road.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens (-3) O/U 47.5
While the Steelers have won three in a row the Ravens have lost two straight. Not only have the Ravens lost two in a row, but they still have the league’s top-ranked defense even though they have given up 60 points in their last two games. The Steelers lost at home earlier this season at home and they will avenge that winning and covering in Baltimore this Sunday.
New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins (-3) O/U 45
The Dolphins and Jets are vying for 2nd place in the AFC East and the Jets have lost two in a row where they gave up 61 points. The Dolphins were beaten badly in their last game giving up 42 points to the Houston Texans and once again they will start Brock Osweiler in place of the injured Ryan Tannehill. The Jets will at least cover in this game in the Sunshine State.
Chicago Bears (-10) vs. Buffalo Bills O/U 37.5
The Bills quarterback situation is a mess and they are double-digit home underdogs in this game facing the Bears. Buffalo has lost three in a row where they only scored a grand total of 24 points. Chicago has a solid defense that only gave up 10 points in their last game, which snapped their two-game losing streak. Take the Bears in this one facing Miami’s backup quarterback.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers (-6.5) O/U 54.5
Ryan Fitzpatrick is back as the starting quarterback for the Bucs, who lead the league in overall offense, but rank dead last in overall defense. The Panthers have won two in a row and four of their last five games and rank 2nd in the league in rushing yards per game. Still, I think some Fitz-magic is going to happen Sunday and Tampa Bay will at least cover the spread.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Washington Redskins (-1.5) O/U 46.5
The Falcons have won two in a row after losing three straight, but those wins came facing the New York Giants and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are both under .500. the Redskins have won three in a row and Adrian Peterson has shown he has a lot of gas left in the tank. Take the Skins at home in this NFC encounter.
Houston Texans vs. Denver Broncos (-1) O/U 46
While the Broncos have lost five of their last six games three of those losses have come facing the Chiefs twice and the Rams and those losses were by a combined 13 points. The Texans have won five in a row, but none of those teams they beat currently have a winning record. Denver is at home and they will win and cover in this one.
LA Chargers vs. Seattle Seahawks (-2) O/U 48
Both of these teams are coming off wins and nobody is really talking about them with the Chiefs and Rams in their respective divisions. The Bolts have gotten good play from Phillip Rivers, but Seattle is more balanced and has a better defense, which is why they are the pick in this game.
LA Rams vs. New Orleans Saints (-1.5) O/U 59.5
The Rams are the last undefeated team in the league, but they will not be after this game, they are solid on both sides of the ball, but they have only covered the spread in one of their last five games. On the other side o the coin the Saints have covered in their last five games and Drew Brees has led them to six straight wins. Take New Orleans to win and cover.
Green Bay Packers vs. New England Patriots (-5.5) O/U 56.5
The Packers came close to handing the Rams their first loss of the season in their last game and they look to snap the Patriots five game win streak. While Aaron Rodgers will not be able to help do that he will have a big game and just like in the Rams game where they were pretty big underdogs they will cover in this game even on the road.
Tennessee Titans vs. Dallas Cowboys -6.5 O/U 41
Both of these teams could use a win, as the Titans have lost three in a row and the Cowboys have lost two of their last three games. Ezekiel Elliot is coming off his worst game of the season and he will bounce back have a good game. Dallas’ D does rank 2nd in the league in points allowed and they will stuff the Titans, who have totaled 31 points in their last three games. Hate to take America’s Team in this one, but the Cowboys will win and cover on Monday night.
