Week 10 of the 2023 NFL season is almost here, and realistically, this is one of the worst slates of the year. With the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, and Philadelphia Eagles all on their bye week, there are simply fewer entertaining games scheduled. Nevertheless, we have NFL betting picks for Week 10 to liven up this dull slate.
9:30am EST – Frankfurt Stadium
Both of these teams are struggling in all facets of the game, and while the Colts have a respectable 4-5 record, the Patriots’ defense should shut them down. New England have a putrid offense but a solid defense, and Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew has thrown five interceptions in four weeks. Take the Pats in Germany, as they should force enough mistakes to cover the spread.
1pm EST – M&T Bank Stadium
Baltimore have won four straight, and they have beaten two playoff contenders over the past three weeks by a combined score of 75-9. Their offense is firing on all cylinders, and their defense is playing at an elite level. The Browns lost 28-3 to the Ravens earlier in the season, and although each team looks a little different now, we don’t believe the Browns will be able to score enough to keep up with Baltimore.
1pm EST – Acrisure Stadium
Aaron Jones, the Green Bay running back, is finally healthy, and last weekend was his first game this season with over 10 carries. He ended up getting in the end zone for the second time this season, and we like his chances to do it again this weekend. Pittsburgh have a middle-of-the-road rushing defense, and the Packers will play through Jones in this game. The +185 odds for him to score a touchdown is great value.
1pm EST – TIAA Bank Field
Travis Etienne has seven touchdowns in his last four games. The Jaguars’ offense is moving through Etienne, and they will lean on him in this spot. San Francisco started the season as the best defense in the NFL, but they have lost three straight games and have been beaten on the ground. Etienne should continue to dominate and keep up his insane touchdown pace in this spot.
4:05pm EST – SoFi Stadium
This is one of the few entertaining games slated for this Sunday. The Chargers have won two straight games on the back of their defense, and that should be the difference. Each squad possesses a solid offense, but the Lions’ defense has been flimsy in recent weeks, and they will struggle to deal with Justin Herbert and company. In a game that could be a shootout, we are taking the better defense.
4:05pm EST – State Farm Stadium
Drake London, the number one receiver for the Falcons, is in line for a huge day. The Cardinals have one of the worst pass defenses in the league, and while the Falcons have struggled offensively, London has been very solid. He has covered this number in four straight games, and against Arizona he should easily hit this over.
8:20pm EST – Allegiant Stadium
This one should come down to the Jets’ elite defense. While rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell has been serviceable for the Raiders, this Jets defense could embarrass him. While New York’s offense is awful, we simply do not believe the Raiders will score.
