NFL Week 12 best picks and top prop bets | Sunday, November 27

NFL football tips

The NFL Week 12 slate is upon us and for many teams, it’s do-or-die time. There are only six games remaining for many teams and the playoff picture is becoming set. While this Sunday slate is a little light due to the Thanksgiving games, there are still some fascinating matchups and some great picks on the board. Here are our best bets for this crucial Week 12

Miami Dolphins vs Houston Texans

This game isn’t going to be very good. The Houston Texans are one of the worst teams in the league and their record of 1-8-1 is representative of that. On the other side of the ball, the Miami Dolphins have been one of the NFL’s biggest surprises and they have a record of 7-3. That all being said, this is far too many points. While Miami have been solid, they are terrible defensively and Houston should be able to stay within the number for this game. The Texans will also be starting a new QB in this game and Kyle Allen should be able to move the ball with more success than Davis Mills. For these reasons, we are going to take Houston and the points in a game that should be closer than the line suggests.

Dameon Pierce is the running back for the Houston Texans and if this game is relatively close, he will have a big game. Pierce regularly touches the ball 25 plus times for the Texans and he is a large portion of their offense. And against the Dolphins, it can work. The Dolphins have given up 12 touchdowns on the ground this season and that puts them in the bottom 10 across the league. Pierce projects to be heavily involved and considering the Dolphins incompetence stopping the run, Pierce has a great chance to score.

Tennessee Titans vs Cincinatti Bengals

In what will likely be the game of the weekend, we are taking the home underdogs. For some reason, the Tennessee Titans get no respect and the 7-3 squad are consistently underrated by the oddsmakers. The Bengals are a solid 6-4 but they will struggle to move the ball on this lockdown Titans defense. While Tennessee’s offense isn’t great, Cincinnati have struggled defensively all season and the Titans should score enough to cover in this game. Simply put, the Titans are too strong defensively to pick against and this line isn’t giving Tennessee enough credit for the season they have put together.

San Fransico 49ers vs New Orleans Saints

This game is going to be decided by which team runs the ball with more success. While we think the Niners should win this game, they do not have the capability to blow the Saints out. Although New Orleans have struggled this season, they have a good rush defense and they should be able to limit the Niners. This simply is a bad matchup for San Francisco and even if they are the better team, New Orleans will play in the number here. Expect Alvin Kamara to have a big game and keep the Saints close in this interesting affair.

Keenan Allen has finally returned and he immediately raised the profile of this Chargers offense. After missing a large part of the season, Allen came back last week and helped the Chargers score almost 30. In this game, he should have an even bigger role and it is a great matchup against one of the league worst defenses, the Arizona Cardinals. The Cards will struggle to stop the Chargers all game long and Los Angeles should have plenty of redzone opportunities. When that happens, Allen will be involved and his odds to score are far too long considering his importance to this offense.

Philadelphia Eagles v Green Bay Packers

This will be a real measuring stick game for the Eagles. This 9-1 Philly team stormed out of the gates and started the season 8-0. However, they struggled in their last two games and they have seemingly lost the trust of NFL pundits. That being said, this is a chance for the Eagles to prove their dominance. They will be at home against a capable but bad Packers team and Philly should have a field day against them. The Packers can’t stop anyone on the ground and that will open up the Philly offense to do what they do best. Unless the Eagles come out flat again, they should win this game and this line is discrediting the good work they have done all season.

Miles Sanders is the Eagles running back who will be tasked with taking advantage of that Packers rush defense. And he is in a spot to deliver. Sanders has ceded some carries in recent weeks but in this game, it should be all Sanders. The Eagles will be hungry to prove any doubters wrong and Sanders will have open running lanes all game long. Take Sanders to score in a game where he could find the endzone multiple times.
