F1 Spa

Formula 1 heads to Spa-Francorchamps this weekend for the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix, with Ferrari suddenly looking like a much bigger threat after Charles Leclerc won at Silverstone.

That British Grand Prix result has changed the feel of the betting market. Mercedes is still being treated as the team to beat, and Kimi Antonelli remains favourite, but Ferrari has clearly closed the gap. Leclerc’s win was not a fluke result either; the car looked genuinely quick, and Lewis Hamilton has also been on a strong run of form.

Spa is the kind of circuit where confidence, straight-line speed and tyre management all matter. The long run through Eau Rouge and Raidillon, the Kemmel Straight and the heavy braking zones give drivers chances to attack, but the lap is long enough that a weak car balance can be exposed quickly.

That makes this a fascinating betting weekend. Antonelli and Mercedes deserve respect at the top of the market, but Ferrari’s pace makes Hamilton and Leclerc hard to ignore at their current prices. Further back, Isack Hadjar has been around the top six often enough lately to be worth another look in the place markets.

2026 Belgian Grand Prix odds

Antonelli heads the Spa market at +100, with Russell and Verstappen both on the next line at +400. That keeps Mercedes firmly at the top of the market, but Ferrari’s recent form makes the next two prices very interesting.

Hamilton is available at +800, while Silverstone winner Leclerc is listed at +1000. Piastri is close behind at +1050, with Norris much further out at +4000 after a patchy recent run.

Belgian Grand Prix 2026 betting predictions

Spa looks like a race where the market may be giving Mercedes a little too much breathing room. Antonelli is still the rightful favourite, but Ferrari has found speed at exactly the right time, and both Hamilton and Leclerc have strong cases at bigger prices.

The key is whether Ferrari can keep closing the gap across a full race distance. If the Silverstone pace carries over, Spa gives Hamilton and Leclerc enough overtaking and strategy options to make life difficult for the favourites. Hadjar also remains interesting in the top-six market after repeatedly putting himself in that range across recent races.

Lewis Hamilton to win

Hamilton to win at +800 is the standout value play. Ferrari looks fast again, and with the team closing the gap to Mercedes, this price feels too big for a driver who has been right in the mix over the last few races.

Hamilton’s recent form is strong, and Spa is the type of track where experience can make a real difference. He has the racecraft to manage tyres, pick the right moments to attack, and stay calm if the weather or strategy makes the race awkward. At +800, he is hard to pass up.

Charles Leclerc podium finish

Leclerc to finish on the podium at +200 makes plenty of sense after his Silverstone win. Ferrari has found pace, Leclerc has confidence again, and the podium market feels like a safer way to play him than chasing back-to-back wins.

He does not need to beat every Mercedes and Red Bull to land this. If Ferrari is genuinely quick again, Leclerc only needs a clean qualifying, a tidy race and one of the front runners to slip up. Given the way Spa can open up with strategy, slipstreaming and changing conditions, +200 looks a very fair price.

Isack Hadjar top-six finish

Hadjar to finish top six at +500 is the bolder place-market play. He has already been around that range in recent races, and the form line gives him enough appeal at a price like this.

Spa can create big gaps between teams, but it can also reward drivers who qualify well and stay clean through the race. Hadjar has shown enough pace and composure to be a factor if Red Bull gives him a car that works through the long, fast sections. If a couple of the usual front runners make mistakes, +500 is a strong number for another top-six finish.
