The College Football National Title Game is finally upon us and we have a fantastic matchup this Monday Night. While Georgia is expected to win big and grab their second consecutive National Championship, the scrappy Horned Frogs from TCU stand in their way and they will look to wrap up their surprisingly great season with the ultimate prize. It’s going to be a hell of a game and we have some picks for the final College Football game of the year.
Bulldogs v Horned Frogs betting tips
Here are our free tips for the Georgia Bulldogs v TCU Horned Frogs.
Georgia Bulldogs -12.5 -110 vs TCU Horned Frogs
In this title game, we are taking the heavy favorites. Georgia won the NCAA title game last season in convincing fashion and carried that momentum into yet another undefeated season. They have been the best team in the country all year long and their defensive talent is simply unmatched. While they are a little banged up offensively, TCU have struggled defensively and have given up 30 plus points six times this season. Georgia will be able to score. They still have elite playmakers up and down the field and it will come down to whether their defense holds up. And counting on this Georgia defense has always paid off. Take Georgia to win big and complete their second straight undefeated season with another title win.
Georgia Bulldogs -12.5
Georgia vs TCU: Over 62.5 Points
While we think Georgia wins big, this should still be a fun game where both offenses can move the ball. While Georgia have an elite defense, TCU’s offense is very good and it will be hard for the Bulldogs to completely shut them down. On the other side of the ball, Georgia should have no problem scoring and this game has the potential to become a shootout. In the past eight College Football Title Games, the over is 6-2 and has an average of 64.5 points scored. This game should mirror title games of the past and the over is the play Monday Night.
Over 62.5 Points
Quentin Johnston Anytime Touchdown Scorer -115
Quentin Johnston is a great wide receiver for the Horned Frogs and he has a chance to be the first wide receiver taken in the NFL draft. Johnston has been great all year and in the semi final game, he broke free for a 76-yard touchdown. While replicating that will be difficult against this speedy Georgia defense, Johnston is an elite talent and will be the main man for TCU. Georgia are prone to struggling against elite receivers and Johnston is exactly that. Take Johnston to score at -115 as he should once again be heavily targeted in a game that he needs to dominate if the Horned Frogs want to win.
Quentin Johnston anytime touchdown scorer
Kenny McIntosh To Score Two Plus Touchdowns +320
McIntosh is a great running back for Georgia and sits at -195 to score one touchdown. Because of the lack of value on that, we are going to take him to score twice. Simply put, McIntosh is the motor of this Bulldog offense and he gets the ball around 20 times a game. Whether it’s through the air or on the ground, McIntosh is an elite weapon and has garnered 12 touchdowns this season. He should give the TCU defense fits all night long and once again dominate. If this game plays out how we think it will, Georgia will be in the redzone with some consistency and McIntosh will get the ball a lot. Take the stud running back to score twice and dominate a porous TCU rush defense.
