In their last game before the bye the Packers beat the San Francisco 49ers 33-30. They kicked a game winning field goal as time expired after an 81-yard drive that started with an interception with only 1:07 left in the game. Green Bay racked up 521 yards, giving up 401 yards, but the one turnover in the game with the late interception gave Rodgers a chance and he took it.

Rodgers lit it up for 425 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and three players had at least 100 receiving yards. Like on the season Rodgers did not get much help from the run game and Aaron Jones led the team with only 41 rushing yards. The Packers have a tall order facing a Rams’ defense that only gave up 10 points in their last game.

The Rams also faced the 49ers in their last game, but they had a much easier time than the Packers winning 39-10. Not only did the Rams have more than 100 total yards (331 to 228), but they forced four turnovers and did not commit any. Jared Goff had an efficient game with 202 passing yards with a couple of touchdowns and no interceptions and Todd Gurley only rushed for 63 yards on only 15 carries. Gurley leads the league in rushing yards and also has 270 receiving yards.

Obviously, Gurley is a major concern for Green Bay and while they rank fifth in the league in pass defense they only rank 22nd in run defense.
