Going into matchweek 37, all bar four teams have two matches to play in the next two weeks, as the 2022/23 English Premier League wraps up for another year. Currently Manchester City hold a four-point lead with one game in hand on Arsenal and it is their title to lose. Meanwhile, the race for the four European places is very close, as there is four points separating third and fifth. Below you will find our preview of the nine games taking place across the weekend, with odds courtesy of the top online betting sites.

The opening fixture of matchweek 37 will see Tottenham host Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the hosts attempting to jump ahead of Brighton and hold on to the last European place in sixth position on the EPL table. Brentford will be without their talisman Ivan Toney – who has accounted for 20 goals this campaign – as he has been suspended by the FA for eight months after his breach of betting rules hearing has concluded. Tottenham may not be in the best of form right now, however, they have won seven of their last eight matches at home, including impressive 1-0 and 2-0 victories over Manchester City and Chelsea. Spurs will go into this game as the favourites and we will be backing them in to get the win at home once again.
Tottenham to Win

Although Bournemouth sit in 14th with two matches to play, they have already sewn up a place in the EPL for another year after being promoted this year. On Saturday afternoon, The Cherries will host Manchester United, in what will be a massive game for the Red Devils, as they will need to win all three of their remaining games to ensure a top four finish. United sit three points behind Newcastle in fourth place and one point ahead of Liverpool, with a game in hand on both. With a tough game ahead of them at home against Chelsea on Thursday, a win away to Bournemouth is a non-negotiable for United on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester -1
Fulham vs Crystal Palace
Saturday, May 20 – 3pm BST – Craven Cottage, London
Fulhamvs Crystal Palace |

The clash between Fulham and Crystal Palace is a deadest mid-table battle, with no team a chance of being relegated nor are they fighting for a European place. Fulham are coming off back-to-back wins over Leicester and Southampton, while Crystal Palace’s resurgence under the care of Roy Hodgson has been nothing short of remarkable, with the Eagles winning five of their last eight games. With very little on the line for both teams here, we anticipate a high scoring affair, so we will be taking the over 2.5 goals and both teams to score double.

Liverpool will host Aston Villa at Anfield this Saturday, where the rampant Reds will look to extend their seven-match win streak and continue their march up the table to challenge for a top four spot. Meanwhile, Aston Villa are coming off a big victory at home over Tottenham, where they were by far the better team through 90 minutes. A win for Liverpool in this fixture could see them jump into the top four, depending on other results, and for Aston Villa they could jump Tottenham and Brighton if they are to slip up in their respective matches.
Liverpool and Over 2.5 Goals
Wolverhampton vs Everton
Saturday, May 20 – 3pm BST – Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton Wanderersvs Everton |

The last of the 3pm kick-offs will be held at Molineux Stadium, where Wolverhampton Wanderers will host relegation battlers Everton. The Wolves are no longer apart of the relegation battle, as their win over Aston Villa two games back saw them get to 40 points, which is nine points above the drop zone. Everton are in desperate need of three points, as they currently sit one point ahead of the drop zone, and if they can grab all the points at Molineux on Saturday afternoon, they could be safe if the bottom three all lose this weekend.
Under 2.5 Goals
Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal
Saturday, May 20 – 5:30pm BST – The City Ground, Nottingham
Nottingham Forestvs Arsenal |
+440 at Bovada | Win odds | -175.44 at Bovada |

Nottingham Forest will host Arsenal at The City Ground as the final match on Saturday, where both teams need a win for completely different reasons. Forest sit in 16th place only three points ahead of the drop zone, while Arsenal are four points behind Manchester City in second place. After defeating Brighton four games back and sharing the points with Chelsea last weekend, Forest have proved to be a tough opponent for a few of the teams in the top half, so Arsenal shouldn’t be expecting to walk all over this tough Nottingham Forest outfit. However, with the amount of talent this Arsenal squad possesses and the fact that anything but a win could finish off their title hopes, we anticipate a strong performance from the Gunners.
Arsenal -1
West Ham vs Leeds
Sunday, May 21 – 1:30pm BST – London Stadium, London
West Hamvs Leeds United |

15th | Table position | 18th |
10-7-19 | Season record | 7-10-19 |

The opening fixture on Sunday afternoon will feature West Ham who will host Leeds United at the London Stadium, with the visitors very much involved in the relegation battle with two weeks to go in the 2022/23 EPL season. Although this season has be one to forget for West Ham in the Premier League, they have been able to distance themselves from the drop zone over the last month, which should give their supporters some relief, after the Hammers were nestled in the bottom three for most of the campaign. The same can’t be said for Leeds supporters, as they will be hoping that their team can get cause an upset and grab all three points to potentially secure their safety.
Both Teams to Score/Over 2.5 Goals
Brighton vs Southampton
Sunday, April 30 – 2pm BST – Amex Stadium, Falmer
Brightonvs Southampton |

Southampton were the first team confirmed to be relegated, as the Saints have only been able to win the six games coming into the penultimate matchweek of the season. They will travel to Brighton this weekend, as the Seagulls will host the bottom-placed team on Sunday afternoon. After a couple of slip ups against Everton and Newcastle in the last three weeks, Brighton have lost their chance to finish in the top four, however, they are still a big chance to finish inside the top six if they can win their last three fixtures. Brighton should prove too strong in this clash, with a thrashing possibly on the cards.
Brighton -2
Manchester City vs Chelsea

The final game of the weekend will feature the champions in waiting Manchester City who will host Chelsea at Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Sky Blues have won their last 11 fixtures, seeing them overtake Arsenal at the top of the table and take a four-point lead in the race for the 2022/23 Premier League title. Their opponents for this match Chelsea, they finally broke through for their first win under the care of Frank Lampard two games back, before sharing the points with Nottingham Forest in their most recent fixture. If Manchester City win this game against Chelsea, they will be crowned champions, as they will hold a four-point lead over Arsenal – who will have one match to play – with a game in hand. City have only lost one match at home all season, and we don’t expect them to lose another one on Sunday.
Manchester City -2
