Oscar Piastri is soaring into red-hot form under the lights in Jeddah, capturing his third victory of the 2025 Formula 1 season at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and overtaking Lando Norris atop the Drivers’ Championship standings.

The 23-year-old McLaren ace started second but immediately pounced on Max Verstappen with a rocket start and a perfectly executed pit strategy. Holding firm through the final stint, Piastri crossed the line nearly three seconds ahead of the defending world champ. He entered the weekend priced at +200 with sportsbooks and now sits as the -185 with leading sportsbooks favorite to win the 2025 Drivers’ title.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc secured a strong P3 finish, while Norris bounced back from a qualifying crash to finish fourth. Mercedes had both cars in the top six, but tyre wear issues left George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli unable to threaten the front-runners.

Carlos Sainz delivered his best result since Round 2, finishing eighth and finally picking up some points for Williams. Rounding out the top 10 were Alexander Albon and Racing Bulls rookie Isack Hadjar, who continues to quietly build an impressive rookie campaign.
