Friday, September 12 – 9pm CEST – Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium
Sevilla and Elche will meet for the first time since May 2023, and it shapes up as a match with few chances. Both sides are went to the international break with 2-0 victories, but considering that was the first time Elche had scored more than once this season, it would be a shock if this game didn’t end with one goal or none in total.
Saturday, September 13 – 2pm CEST – Estadio Coliseum
Getafe had put together a couple of impressive victories before falling 3-0 to Valencia prior to the international break, and they look set to bounce back on Saturday. Real Oviedo stunned Real Sociedad with a 1-0 victory, but away to Getafe will be a whole new beast. In what shapes as a low-scoring affair, Getafe should do enough to get all three points.
Saturday, September 13 – 4:15pm CEST – Estadio Municipal de Anoeta
Life under Xabi Alonso has started perfectly for Real Madrid, with three wins from as many matches in La Liga. Sociedad, on the other hand, have opened with two draws and a 1-0 loss to newly promoted Oviedo. With a stacked front three and a defense that has only conceded once, Real Madrid should win comfortably.
Saturday, September 13 – 6:30pm CEST – San Mamés Stadium
Athletic Club have been the surprise package to begin the new Liga season, claiming victory in all three matches thus far. That trend looks set to continue on Saturday when they host an inconsistent Deportivo Alaves. Bilbao have won four of the last five encounters between these two sides in all competitions, and that trend is likely to continue.
Saturday, September 13 – 9pm CEST – Riyadh Air Metropolitano
Atletico Madrid are desperate to find form, and things do not get any easier when they host Villarreal. Atleti have just two points to their name, while Villarreal head to the Spanish capital undefeated with two wins and a draw. Diego Simeone’s men will look to keep this tight at home, with the visitors unlikely to take too many risks on the road.
Sunday, September 14 – 2pm CEST – Estadio Abanca-Balaídos
Celta Vigo have found themselves in three straight 1-1 draws, while Girona are languishing at the bottom of the Liga table, conceding 10 goals in three matches and scoring just once. When they met earlier this year it ended 2-2, and a similar output in terms of goals would come as no surprise.
Sunday, September 14 – 4:15pm CEST – Estadi Ciutat de Valencia
Levante will welcome Real Betis as both teams look to bounce back from Matchday 3 losses. Between the two sides there has only been one clean sheet across their six matches to begin the season, with defensive lapses a key issues — especially for the hosts. Expect this to turn into a back-and-forth game in the second half.
Sunday, September 14 – 6:30pm CEST – Estadio El Sadar
Osasuna have been consistent enough to begin their La Liga campaign, playing in three straight 1-0 results for a win and two losses. Rayo Vallecano have also struggled to put the ball in the back of the net of late, netting just two goals in two matches. All signs point to a low-scoring affair.
Sunday, September – 9pm CEST – Estadi Johan Cruyff
Ferran Torres has been in sensational form to begin the season, netting twice in La Liga and also scoring for Spain in their 6-0 win over Türkiye during the week. The former Manchester City forward has enjoyed playing as a target man, and at even money with top soccer betting sites, he looks a good price to score once again.
Monday, September 15 – 9pm CEST – RCDE Stadium
Espanyol have started their campaign with two wins and a draw, while Mallorca have a draw and two losses to their name. The Catalans have won three of the last five encounters between the two sides in La Liga, and based on early season form, it is hard to see Mallorca posing much of a threat on Monday night.
