Everton, on the other hand, have endured a horror start to the season, so much so that their manager’s job hangs in the balance ahead of Sunday’s trip to the East Midlands.

The Toffees suffered a disheartening 2-0 home defeat to newly promoted Norwich City last weekend, a result that saw them drop to 16th on the table on 14 points. They have only four wins from 13 games and sit a mere four points above the relegation zone.
