NFL Playoff tips for the AFC division 2020-21

NFL Wildcard Playoffs Betting, Tips, Preview, Odds & Predictions

The playoffs are here with the Wild Card round this weekend with two games on Saturday and two games Sunday. Let’s take a look at the parlay picks and NFL betting multi bets for all four games.

Buffalo Bills vs Houston Texans NFL Betting Preview

  • NFL betting: Texans -2.5 O/U 42.5
  • Where: NRG Stadium Houston, TX
  • When: Saturday 4:35PM ET
  • Watch Live: ESPN, Kayo

The Bills struggled down the stretch this season losing three of their last four games. They have a good defense and a solid run game but in their last four games they only averaged 14.3 ppg.

The Texans had won two in a row before losing their season finale, which did not matter in terms of playoff seed. QB Deshawn Watson did not play and EB Carlos Hyde only had four carries.

While the Bills are a run-first team on offense Josh Allen had a pretty solid sophomore campaign. He will be facing the weakness of the Houston defense, which is their pass defense that ranks 29th in the league. However, J.J. Watt may be back for this game after missing most of the season and his return may give the Houston defense a major boost of confidence.

Watson leads a balanced offense and he has a tall task facing a Buffalo defense that ranks third in the league.

Look for a low scoring game in this one in the Lone Star State, but Watson will make some plays and the Texans will win and cover.

  • Bills versus Texans NFL Betting Pick: Texans -2.5 -111.11 at Bovada

Tennessee Titans vs New England Patriots NFL Betting Preview

  • NFL Betting: Patriots -4.5 O/U 43.5
  • Where: Gillette Stadium Foxborough, MA
  • When: Saturday 8:15PM ET
  • Watch Live: CBS, Kayo

Well, many have jumped off the Patriots’ bandwagon this season and that is especially the case after losing at home to the Miami Dolphins in the season finale, which cost them a first-round bye.

The Titans clinched a playoff berth in their last game beating the Texans, who rested some key players. Derrick Henry finished the season as the NFL rushing champion and in the last game against the Texans he rushed for 211 yards. He faces a New England run defense that ranks sixth in the league.

Even in losing to the Dolphins in the season finale they only gave up 63 rushing yards while giving up 326 passing yards. Ryan Tannehill has to avoid the turnover in this game and limit his mistakes facing the New England defense.

Tom Brady had a far from solid season with all the issues with the WR corps and the offensive line. Does he still have it? While Tennessee ranks a respectable 12th in the league in run defense they only rank 24th in pass defense.

In New England and in the playoffs, we cannot go against Brady and company. The Pats will win and cover in this Wild Card game.

  • Titans versus Patriots NFL Betting Pick: Patriots -4.5 -111.11 at Bovada

Minnesota Vikings vs New Orleans Saints NFL Betting Preview

  • NFL Betting: Saints -8 O/U 48.5
  • Where: Mercedes-Benz Superdome New Orleans, LA
  • When: Sunday 1:05PM ET
  • Watch Live: Fox, Kayo

The Vikings limp into the playoffs losing their last two games where they only totalled 29 points.

The Saints won their last three games of the season and won two of them in blowouts. They rank fourth in the NFL in ppg and their offense is clicking with Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, and Michael Thomas, who finished the season with the most receiving yards in the league.

Kirk Cousins had a solid season overall but did not play in the last game with the Minnesota playoff spot already set. In his last game in the big loss to the Green Bay Packers he only passed for 122 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Minnesota star RB Dalvin Cook missed the last two games of the season with a shoulder injury and he should go in this game. His play is key but how will the injury affect him? He rushed for 1,135 yards on the season but in his last four games he only rushed for over 29 yards once.

The Saints are rolling while the Vikes have some big question marks. Saints are the pick at home even giving away eight points start.

  • Vikings versus Saints NFL Betting Pick: Saints -8 -111.11 at Bovada

Seattle Seahawks vs Philadelphia Eagles NFL Betting Preview

  • NFL Betting: Seahawks -1.5 O/U 46
  • Where: Lincoln Financial Field Philadelphia, PA
  • When: Sunday 4:40PM ET
  • Watch Live: NBC, Kayo

The Seahawks lost three of their last four games of the season, but they did beat the Eagles in Philadelphia 17-9 on November 24th.

The Eagles won their last four games of the season to win the NFC East and Carson Wentz was solid in that span. However, Philly is still banged up and in their last four games did not face one team with a winning record.

Russell Wilson had a great season, but the team was hurt when RB Chris Carson, who finished fifth in the league in rushing yards, was lost for the season. Seattle was 7-1 on the road this season but that one loss was in their last road games.

Each team has major injury issues and defensive ones as well. However, BettingPlanet.com see this game being like the first matchup in a low scoring affair, which is why I am going with the Under.

  • Seahawks versus Eagles NFL Betting Pick: Under 46 -111.11 at Bovada
