The Oklahoma City Thunder are red hot, as they have won five in a row and nine of their last 10 games. Four of their last five wins were on the road, where they are 8-9. They are not a high-scoring team, but OKC have a defense that ranks 10th in the league in points conceded per game.

Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid is averaging a double-double this season (23.6 ppg, 12.4 rpg), but he has failed to shoot over 42% from the floor in two of his last three games.

Earlier this season in Oklahoma City the Thunder beat the 76ers 127-119 in overtime.

The Thunder are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games facing the 76ers in Philly, but neither of those trends will continue this week. The 76ers will have a great game back at home, covering the spread as they snap both their losing streak and Oklahoma City’s winning run.

The Milwaukee Bucks have the best record in the NBA and are in the midst of a five-game winning streak. Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is putting up big numbers again and the Bucks are the highest-scoring team in the league.

This is the second game of a home-and-home series. The Bucks beat the San Antonio Spurs 127-118 at the Fiserv Forum last time out, with Antetokounmpo dropping 32 points as the Milwaukee defense held the visitors to a field goal percentage of 40.9%.

The Spurs have lost two in a row. While they have been a bad road team, they are 10-9 at home. They can score the rock, but the issue on the season has been a defense that only ranks 24th in the league while giving up an average of 115.1 points per game.

The Bucks have covered the spread in five of their last six road games. Look for that trend to continue. The Greek Freak will have another big game and Milwaukee will win and cover in this non-conference clash in the Lone Star State.

The Orlando Magic had won two in a row before losing their last game, where they only scored 96 points against the Utah Jazz.

On the season the Magic are 11-8 at home and the Nets are 7-11 on the road. This is the first game between these teams this season.

Not only have the Nets lost five straight, but they have failed to cover the spread in any of those games.
