Bayer Leverkusen (2-1-0) has shaken off a 1-1 draw in their first match of Bundesliga play with back-to-back blowout wins of 4-0 over Monchengladbach at home and 4-1 over Augsburg on the road. Borussia Dortmund (2-0-1) has wins of 5-2 over Eintracht Frankfurt and 3-2 over Hoffenheim at home this season and a 2-1 loss to SC Freiburg on the road.

There is some solid value on Leverkusen at +210 on the moneyline to win at home. But why try to predict a winner in this matchup when we can just make a play on over 3.5 goals? These two clubs have combined to score four or more goals in six of their last seven matchups against one another. Both are more than comfortable playing a wide-open style. Regardless of who comes out on top, we should expect plenty of goals to be scored along the way.

Greuther Furth vs Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg (3-0-0) rose to the challenge of a tough home test in their last league match, defeating RB Leipzig to improve to 3-0-0 on the season. Greuther Furth (0-1-2) has earned one point out of a possible nine with road losses of 5-1 against VfB Stuttgart and 3-0 against Mainz and a 1-1 home draw against Arminia.

Taking one of the best teams in Bundesliga against one of the worst teams isn’t exactly expert handicapping. It is, however, likely to be a winning play this Saturday. Wolfsburg had a week off to celebrate the win over RB Leipzig, so a letdown performance isn’t likely. This is a match that Wolfsburg should easily win, and the price they are getting on the moneyline makes it a worthwhile wager.

RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich (2-1-0) has been on a tear since settling for a 1-1 draw against Monchengladbach in its Bundesliga opener. Bayern has won its last two league games 3-2 over Koln and 5-0 over Hertha Berlin while also claiming a 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the DFL-Supercup and a 12-0 win over Bremer SV in the DFB-Pokal.

RB Leipzig (1-0-2) is off to a disappointing start in 2020-21 with a pair of 1-0 road losses to Mainz and VfB Stuttgart. Leipzig played considerably better in its one home match against VfB Stuttgart, earning a 4-0 win in that one. Perhaps home field advantage will drive RB Leipzig to another strong performance this Saturday, but we aren’t betting against red-hot Bayern Munich, especially when the top betting sites are offering better than evens on the moneyline.
