Chelsea could not have been any more impressive to begin the EPL season, with only a 1-1 draw at Liverpool in Matchweek 3 keeping them from a perfect record. Marquee summer signing Romelu Lukaku has hit the ground running with three goals in his three games in his second coming as a Blue. Outside of Christian Pulisic and N’Golo Kante, who are missing through injury, this Chelsea line-up is near full strength and will be confident of claiming three points at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
All the focus for Chelsea automatically goes towards the performances of Timo Werner and Lukaku in attack, but it is their star-studded midfield who consistently get the job done. Despite not yet hitting the scoresheet in the 2021/22 EPL season, we expect Mason Mount to find the back of the net against Tottenham and continue his progression as one of England’s best young talent.
