NBA Thursday betting picks, parlay bet & top odds – 3/10/2022

Warriors at Nuggets NBA Picks - Thursday, 3/10/22

After a crazy night of basketball that saw LeBron James and the Lakers hit rock bottom, the NBA returns with a light two game slate. While it is only two games, all four of the teams playing are firmly in the playoff hunt and you could argue they all have title aspirations. It should be a drama filled night, as James Harden will return to play his old team, the Brooklyn Nets. Either way, we have a pick for both games.

Brooklyn Nets at Philadelphia 76ers Picks

And here we go. This game has all the storylines and it should be great basketball. James Harden was traded from the Nets to the Sixers for Ben Simmons a month ago and NBA fans have been itching for this matchup since then. Although Simmons won’t be playing, it will still be a great game. Kevin Durant is back and fully healthy for the Nets and Kyrie Irving is playing his best basketball of the season. When that is happening, the Nets can beat anyone and while the Sixers are a better team, the Nets have some extra motivation to stick it to Harden.

The 76ers have had a better season than the Nets and are currently the three seed. James Harden and Joel Embiid are both playing at a high level and everything would suggest that Philly would win this game. However, the Nets will have the best player on the floor and he will be motivated. Kevin Durant is a spiteful guy and while he publicly hasn’t trashed James Harden, he definitely is not happy with how their tenure together went. Expect Durant to re-establish his claim as the best player in the league and lift the Nets to cover this number.

Golden St. Warriors at Denver Nuggets Betting Preview

This line makes no sense. The Warriors’ struggles have been well reported and ever since Draymond Green got hurt, they have stunk. They will enter this game on a 3-9 stretch against the spread and while Steph Curry has the ability to win games on his own, the Nuggets also have a guy who can do that. With Draymond back and healthy, the Warriors are a title favorite with the sportsbooks. Without him, they have proven they are not as good and due to his absence, the Nuggets should win this game.

The Nuggets answer to Steph Curry will be Nikola Jokic. Jokic is starting to lengthen his lead in the MVP race and no one is playing better basketball than him right now. He cannot be stopped. Although the Nuggets will be playing on back to back nights and may have some fatigue, this is a big game for them. They are currently four games behind the Warriors in the standings and will expect to make up some ground in this matchup. The Nuggets have been great recently and have won 10 of their last 11 games. Take the Nuggets to win and watch Jokic feast all over a vulnerable Warrior’s squad.
