Fanduel generate 12% revenue market share from Draftkings in NY

Entertainment’s FanDuel amassed a notable 12% profit market share last week.

The online betting brand retains its seat as the market leader, having displaced Caesars in year-to-date numbers with 35% compared to Caesars’ 31%.

FanDuel also tops the year-to-year handle market, with a 36% market share. Its closest competitor is also Caesars, which has a 26% market share of New York’s market handle.

DraftKings has to stumble to third in New York’s weekly ratings, after losing 12% of its market value the same week that FanDuel moved with a 12% increase in market share.

This is significant progress for the company, with FanDuel standing firm to relegate DraftKings to third in the New York standings.

Meanwhile, even with losing its year-to-date lead, Caesars will be excited to have been moved to second in the market ratings.

Moreover, Caesars is the only brand to see important gains in its share of the market handle, moving from 16% to 21% share.

Even with FanDuel’s profit gains over DraftKings, both brands’ handle market share has been stated in line with the previous week.

DraftKings retains a 25% share of the market’s share, while FanDuel’s share rose by just 2% from 39% to 41%.
