THE struggling Rabbitohs face yet another tough Friday night clash.

The men from South Sydney have lost the past three games since the bye round and there wasn’t anything inspiring about the 12-30 loss against the Eels last week.

The Panthers have had a mixed season, performing well-below expectations. On paper the team is one of the better sides in the NRL, with the likes of Origin stars Matt Moylan and Josh Mansour making their way back into the side, but for a number of reasons, things haven’t quite click consistently on the field.

South Sydney get its Origin stars back with Greg Inglis and Adam Reynolds – two guns sorely missed last week.

It looks unlikely that the Rabbitohs can turn its season around after a string of poor loses and the Panthers should be able to find itself back into the running for the playoffs.

One interesting match-up is between centres Greg Inglis and Tyrone Peachey. Inglis is on the downswing of his career while Peachey has the world at his feet. Which player will come out on top in this Friday night classic?

Inglis vs. Peachey try-scoring markets

Panthers centre Tyrone Peachey was unlucky to not make the New South Wales side, but that will help the Panthers this Friday.

Peachey has played in 12 games this season for six tries and five try-assists. He has also done his fair share of tough work with a total of 226 tackles made, which ranks as the second highest among the backs.

He is currently $11 at Sportsbet to score the first try in the game, which looks like good value. We expect Peachey to come out firing and show the Blues’ selectors what they were missing. His hard work will pay off sooner-or-later and punters have been making money betting him throughout the season so far.

The best value comes in the anytime tryscorer market. Peachey is $2.25 to score at any time in the 80-minute game and chances are this Rabbitohs defense won’t be able to stop him. The Rabbitohs have given up at least 29 points in its last three games so the Panthers should have no troubles crossing the line on multiple occasions.

Going up against Tyrone Peachey in the centres is Rabbitohs, Queensland and Australian superstar Greg Inglis. The former fullback, now makeshift centre, has been slightly disappointing with his form this season, but still manages to put in good minutes at representative level.

Inglis has played in 13 games for the Rabbitohs and has scored only twice. He is second in all runs behind only Sam Burgess and he’s due to get rewarded for that effort. Inglis hasn’t been able to carry the team on his shoulders this season and he will need help from his teammates, but he could back up two days after Origin with a barnstorming display.

He’s on the second line of betting in the Rabbitohs first try-scoring market at $13 and he could give them a much-needed early boost. Odds of $2.40 to score at any time is a good multi-bet option, which will set punters up for a big weekend of NRL.
