Ravens vs Steelers

Betting Line: Steelers -3
Over/Under: 51 points at 888 Sportsbook

The 2-1 Ravens are coming off a win and they are tied with the Cincinnati Bengals atop the AFC North. They have been great in the red-zone this season and to say they have had balance so far would be an understatement. Baltimore ranks fifth in the NFL in both points per game and points allowed per game.

The 1-2 Steelers got a must win in their last game after dropping their first two games of the season. The Big Three has been the big one this season as Ben Roethlisberger has regrouped after a bad first game, but Antonio Brown has not had the best start and is only averaging 8.8 yards per reception, and Le’Veon Bell still has signed the franchise tag and has not played. He will miss this game as well and Pittsburgh could sure use him since they have only totaled 111 rushing yards in their last two games.

This season the Ravens are 2-1 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 2-1 with the Steelers at 1-2 ATS with an Over/Under record of 3-0.

Joe Flacco has had a good start to the season leading Baltimore and their ninth ranked passing offense. He has a pretty good and deep wide receiver corps and the pass game has had to be good since the run game has not. Alex Collins leads the team in rushing and he only has 116 yards on a 3.4 yard per carry average.

In their last game the Ravens became the first team in the history of the NFL to score on their first 12 trips to the red-zone. They may have more trips there in this game facing a struggling Pittsburgh defense that ranks 28th in the league against the pass and 25th against the run.

Last season the Ravens lost both of their games facing the Steelers and while they played them close at home in Pittsburgh they lost 26-9.

Ben Roethlisberger has been legit in his last two games and he as the targets, but the loss of Bell in the backfield is a big one. In the Steelers last game they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Big Ben passing for 353 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. The Steelers were out-gained, but they forced four turnovers and only had one.

James Connor averaged 4.1 yards per carry and had 61 rushing yards in the win over Tampa Bay and he has to help Big Ben out. That is especially the case in this game, as Baltimore ranks 2nd in the league in pass defense and Pittsburgh cannot only rely on the pass.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers betting prediction

The Steelers really miss Bell and it does not look like he will be joining the team anytime soon.

However, Conner will have a solid game in this one with the Ravens concentrating on containing Roethlisberger.

This game will be a close one, but the Steelers will win and cover in their house – get the odds at Bovada.
