BKFC Fight Night Tampa 2 best bets & top odds – July 22, 2022

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 56

Jarod Grant and Reggie Barnett Jr will clash for the interim BKFC Bantamweight Championship at this Friday night’s BKFC Fight Night at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. Here’s a preview for that fight and the co-main event of Jared Warren vs John Escoboza, along with betting odds for the rest of the card.

Bantamweight: Jarod Grant (-200) vs Reggie Barnett Jr (+160)

Jarod Grant is off to a perfect 5-0-0 start to his bare-knuckle boxing career with four knockouts to date. Unlike many of the other fighters on the roster who have started bare-knuckle boxing after a career in mixed martial arts, Grant is just 24-years-old and has had no other professional fighting experience outside of the BKFC. Grant looks to have a bright future with the promotion and could score his first taste of gold here.

Reggie Barnett Jr is 6-2-0 in bare-knuckle boxing with two career knockouts. Barnett’s only two losses have both come against Johnny Bedford, with their last bout being contested for the BKFC Bantamweight Championship at BKFC 20. Look for Barnett to fall just short of gold again and for the hungry young grant to get the job done.

Light Heavyweight: Jared Warren (-130) vs John Escoboza (+100)

Jared Warren had a two-fight winning streak snapped with a loss to Isaac Doolittle at BKFC 23 in April. This marked the first time one of his fights had ever gone to the judge’s table as he is now 3-2 with three knockout wins, one knockout loss and that decision loss. John Escoboza is a perfect 7-0-0 in bare-knuckle boxing including a 1-0 record in BKFC with a win over Zion Tomlinson Sr. by knockout. Warren will be Escoboza’s toughest test to date, so it’s hard to predict how this one will go; but he looks like the real deal and is worth taking a shot on at this price.
