Whether you’re betting on horse racing, NRL, AFL or just about any sport in Australia or around the world, our bookmakers have it covered to ensure you get the best value out of your betting. Horse racing is the place to start for getting the best promotions value out of our bookmakers. With so many different options to choose from, betting on the thoroughbreds has never been easier or more profitable. Listed below are the top horse racing promotions currently being offered on Australian racing.

Best horse racing bookmaker promotions

WilliamHill.com.au is offering four different horse racing promotions. The “first half of the field – money back” option is a weekly deal where punters can punt on a losing horse, but get their money back (up to $50).

The bookmaker will nominate a handful of races on a Wednesday card. If punters back a horse which doesn’t win, but finishes in the first half of the field, they get their money back. In a field of 16 you only need to finish eighth to get your cash back – it’s a great offer.

They also offer $50 money back on all four-leg multi-bets which lose by one leg. Punters no longer need to hit every leg in the multi and this provides some handy insurance, especially for horse racing punters which can often get burned by that pesky last leg.

Like most of our bookmakers, WilliamHill offer the Protest Payout option, where punters get paid regardless of what happens in the enquiry room. If your horse wins, you get paid out within 60 seconds of the results being posted. Great value and even more time to reinvest your winnings.

CrownBet.com.au has similar promotions, but offer its loyal customers points instead. Their specials involve horses that run second and no punter enjoys taking a win bet and seeing their horse get pipped on the post. They needn’t worry now as punters get bonus points if their horse finishes second in selected races throughout the week.

NRL betting promotions

CrownBet lead the way with its NRL promotions. The Australian bookmaker’s best bonus is catered towards punters placing a head-to-head bet.

You will get a bonus bet of up to $100 if your team loses by eight points or less in the NRL. That’s great value in a league which is considered one of the closest in the world. Of the losing teams in Round 1, four of them lost within the eight point margin and that makes for plenty of happy punters.

Bets must be placed on the head-to-head option.*

CrownBet also match your stake with bonus points if you take a four-leg multi, but one of the legs loses. This provides some insurance and acts as a “cash out” option.

Bonus structure:

$10 bet = 1,000 points, $20 = 2,000 points, $30 = 3,000 points, $40 = 4,000 points, $50 = $5000 points.

CrownBet also run an NRL tipping competition, which is extremely popular and you could win your share of 25 million points.

Sportsbet.com.au offer a similar NRL head-to-head special where they will refund any head-to-head bet (up to $50) which loses by eight points or less.

The most interesting NRL promotion comes from the team at WilliamHill. Their NRL double down offer gives punters the chance to make more money through the live betting process.

Place a pre-game head-to-head bet on any NRL game and if you match your bet with another in live betting, they will double your in-play winnings (up to $100). That’s a cracking offer and it could see your return increase by a cool $100.

Best AFL bookmaker specials

WilliamHill is at it again with another quality promotion. Their AFL winners bonus special gives futures punters even more reason to place an early bet on the upcoming 2016 season.

Place any futures bet on the 2016 AFL premiership market and they will give you a $5 bonus bet for every match they win during the regular season (minimum futures bet of $30). That’s a potential payout of $110 and that doesn’t even count your pending futures bet.

They are also welcoming the new season by offering five premium prices for each team in the opening week. The AFL sale promotion is good for punters looking to get the best odds and there’s no better place to shop than at WilliamHill for Round 1 of the AFL.

Bet365.com.au are the only other bookmaker offering promotions on the AFL and they are rewarding multi-bet punters in a big way!

Their footy multi-bet offer gives punters a bigger percentage of their winnings depending on how many legs they get up. This offer applies to handicap, totals and head-to-head bets (2-way) on all AFL, NRL and Super Rugby games.

Multi-bet offer structure:

3 legs – 10 percent increase
4 legs – 15 percent
5 legs – 20 percent
6 legs – 25 percent
7 legs – 30 percent
8 legs – 35 percent
9 legs – 40 percent
10 legs – 45 percent
11 legs – 50 percent
12 legs – 55 percent
13 legs – 60 percent
14 legs upwards – 65 percent

If you hit a 14-leg multi bet you’re already swimming in money, but imagine another 65 percent added on top of that. There is a rule that punters can’t win more than $50,000 on their increased winnings, but we wouldn’t care if we were winning those sums of money.

There is also great value with the other options. Getting a 10 percent increase on a three-leg multi can result in a big difference to payouts.
