Thursday Night Football for Week 8 of the 2023 NFL season promises to be a fun game as the Buffalo Bills host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Here are our top NFL betting picks and game predictions for the clash at Highmark Stadium.
Spread pick: Buccaneers +9
Buffalo entered this season with Super Bowl aspirations but have limped to a 4-3 record. Although it’s still relatively early in this season, the Bills have failed to cover the spread in three straight games. The nine-point line, however, suggests Buffalo are firing on all cylinders, so the value is with the visitors. Tampa have lost two straight but stand at 3-3 and boast a very solid defense that should allow them to cover away from home.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +9
Buccaneers TD scorer pick: Mike Evans
The Bills’ once-stout defense has faltered in recent weeks, and a big reason for that has been Tre’Davious White’s season-ending injury. He is their number one cornerback, and his absence has significantly hurt the Bills’ pass defense. Therefore, we are going to take Mike Evans, the Bucs’ best receiver, to score. Evans has four touchdowns through six games and is consistently targeted when the Bucs are near the red zone.
Mike Evans anytime touchdown
Bills TD scorer pick: Dalton Kincaid
Last weekend, rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid had his first big game for the Bills. While he didn’t reach the endzone, he grabbed eight passes, and now fellow tight end Dawson Knox is injured. This will thrust Kincaid into a prominent role within the Bills’ offense, and we know Buffalo will find ways to score. At +260 with top NFL betting sites, Kincaid to score a touchdown is a great bet on an ascending player.
