SC Freiburg vs Bayern Munich

Bayern is back in the driver’s seat for its 10th-straight Bundesliga championship with a six-point lead over second-placed Borussia Dortmund with seven games remaining. The club is 3-2-0 over its last five matches.

SC Freiburg (12-9-6) had to settle for only one point in a 0-0 draw on the road against Greuther Furth prior to the international break. Freiburg is unbeaten over its last six matches with a 3-3-0 record and enters this contest against Bayern Munich with a 4-2-0 record over its last six home games. We’ll take Bayern on the moneyline here; the defending champions are 7-3-0 in their last 10 games against SC Freiburg including a 2-1 win earlier this season.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Hertha BSC

Bayer Leverkusen (14-6-7) entered the break on a high note with a 2-0 road win over VfL Wolfsburg on March 20. Leverkusen is averaging only one goal per game over its current 1-1-1 stretch after having averaged 3.5 goals per game during a 5-0-1 run in the six games prior. Hertha BSC (7-5-15) snapped a nine-match unbeaten streak of 0-2-7 with a shocking 3-0 win over Hoffenheim in their last game. Hertha was 0-0-5 over its previous five games and was outscored 17-3 over that stretch.

Despite their recent goal-scoring slump, we’re going to take Leverkusen -1.25 goals in this matchup. Hertha has been shutout 2-0 and 3-0 in its last two road games against teams worse than Bayer Leverkusen, and Leverkusen has had a week off to regroup and prepare for this match. A win by two or more goals should be well within reach.

Borussia Dortmund vs RB Leipzig

Borussia Dortmund (18-3-6) continued its recent stretch of low-scoring games with a 1-1 draw against FC Koln, moving to 4-2-0 over its last six matches in the process. Dortmund has been known for its high-octane offense all season long, but has scored only one goal per game over its last for matches. RB Leipzig (13-6-8) is also coming off of a low-scoring game after playing to a 0-0 draw at home against Eintracht Frankfurt. Leipzig is 4-2-0 over its last six matches as well.

Look for this one to go UNDER the posted total of three goals. Each of Dortmund’s last three matches have had a total of two goals or less, as have three of RB Leipzig’s last four games. With both of these teams entering this matchup in good form on defense and likely looking to avoid mistakes facing a quality club on the other side of the pitch, a 1-0 or 1-1 match seems like a very likely outcome.
