On Monday Night Football the 0-2 Washington Redskins host the 1-1 Chicago Bears in a matchup between two teams that have some big issues.

The Bears have only scored 19 points in two games and while their defense has been solid, their offense has been far from. They were looking at an 0-2 record but stole a win against the Denver Broncos last week. Mitchell Trubisky brought the team down the field with less than 40 seconds remaining after Denver took the lead and Chicago nailed a 53-yard field go to win as time expired.

The Redskins have lost their first two games and their defense has struggled in both. They have given up the third-most yards after two games and on top of that they have a grand total of 75 rushing yards on the young season.

Trubisky came up big on the final drive in the 16-14 win over the Broncos but only passed for 120 yards all game. Chicago do not have a great WR corps and Trubisky still has not passed for a TD. David Montgomery rushed for 62 yards on a 3.4 per-carry average in the Denver game and the Bears rushed for 154 yards overall.

If there was any game for the Bears and Trubisky to get on track on the offensive side of the ball, it’s this one. They will be facing a Redskins defense that has given up 32 and 31 points, respectively, in their first two games.

The defense has struggled for Washington and the run game has not been there, but Case Keenum has played well under center. He has 601 passing yards with five TD and has not thrown an interception. He lacks a good WR corps and the team is hoping TE Jordan Reed, who is listed as questionable for this game, can play.

The Skins have simply not been able to run the ball and Adrian Peterson, who was a healthy scratch in Week 1, leads the team with 25 rushing yards. Derrius Gruice was slated to be the lead back but is out with a knee issue after he missed all of last season through injury.

The Bears have been great against the run this season and after two games have given up the fourth fewest yards in the league.
