The Dallas Cowboys are undefeated and head to the Big Easy to take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 4 of the 2019 NFL regular season.
The Saints are the underdogs with star quarterback Drew Brees on the sidelines due to a thumb injury, but they won their last game with backup Teddy Bridgewater.

The Cowboys rank in the top four in the league in both passing yards per game and rushing yards per game and are averaging 32.3 ppg. However, their three opponents to date have a grand total of one win between them, so the trip to Louisiana looms as their toughest test yet.
It is no big surprise that the Cowboys won their last game 31-6 against the Miami Dolphins, who many are already calling the worst team ever. Dallas dominated the game after a little bit of a slow start, outgaining the Fish 476 yards to 283 and rushing for 235 yards.
Dak Prescott had 246 passing yards with a touchdown and an interception and Amari Cooper led the team with 88 receiving yards. Ezekiel Elliot rushed for 125 yards, averaging a more than solid 6.6 yards per carry, and he has rushed for at least 111 yards in each of his last two games.
Many thought the Saints were going to slide without Brees, but in their last game without him they beat the Seattle Seahawks 33-27 on the road. However, they were outgained 515 yards to 265 and they got two scores on a punt return and a fumble recovery ran back. Bridgewater was 19 for 27 for 178 yards with two touchdowns and was not picked off. The big star in the game was Alvin Kamara, who rushed for 69 yards and led New Orleans with 92 receiving yards.
With Brees out, Bridgewater has to be a game manager and get the rock to the stars of Kamara and Michael Thomas, who had 54 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Seattle game.
Dallas are only giving up an average of 14.7 ppg but, again, they have played three of the weaker teams in the league so far.
This next stretch of games may show if the Cowboys are legitimate Super Bowl contenders, with fixtures against the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles coming up in the next month.
These teams met last season in Dallas, where the Cowboys beat the Saints 13-10 in a defensive battle.

Dallas @ New Orleans betting predictions
Dallas Cowboys -2.5 at -111.11 with Bovada
It would be nice to back the Saints in this one, as the Cowboys are not quite as good as the bandwagon-jumpers are saying. However, Dallas have great balance and Elliot will be key with another solid game. The Saints may get their points, but the Cowboys will get more and cover the spread in this Sunday primetime game.
