The Detroit Lions will look to get back to winning ways on Monday night when they skip across state lines to take on the Green Bay Packers.
The Lions are coming off a bye week and in their last game they suffered their first loss of the season, falling to the Kansas City Chiefs 34-30.
The Packers are coming off an impressive 34-24 road win over the Dallas Cowboys where they were up big and held off the comeback. They are in first place in the tough NFC North, where every team has a winning record.

In their loss to the Chiefs in their last game the Lions gave up the game-winning touchdown with just over two minutes remaining. They had a balanced game with 261 passing yards and 186 rushing yards and forced three turnovers while committing two.
Matt Stafford passed for 291 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions but was sacked four times. Marvin Jones Jr. led the Lions with 77 receiving yards and Kerryon Johnson had, by far, his best game of the season rushing for 125 yards. Before that game Johnson’s season high was 49 rushing yards.
Stafford has not been picked off in his last two games and on the season has nine touchdowns and only two interceptions.
The Packers have been improved on defense this season but have given up 58 points in their last two games. On the season they rank 14th in the league defending the pass and 24th defending the run.
Green Bay jumped out to a 24-0 lead in their win 34-24 win over the Cowboys last week and while they were outgained 563 yards to 335 yards most of the yards came late with the Dallas furious comeback attempt. On top of that the Packers forced three turnovers on three interceptions and did not commit any.
Aaron Rodgers had a solid game going 22/34 for 238 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. RB Aaron Jones led the team with 75 receiving yards and Davante Adams missed the Cowboys game with a toe injury, after going for 180 receiving yards in the previous game, and he is listed as questionable for this Monday night game.
Aaron Jones also rushed for 107 yards with four TD and averaged 5.6 yards per carry and this was after combining for 40 rushing yards in his previous two games.
The Lions’ defense has not been great on the season ranking 30th against the pass and 20th against the run and they gave up 315 passing yards in their last game. That is not good facing Rodgers in Lambeau this Monday night.
