Club football returns this weekend following the conclusion of the third international break of the 2019/20 campaign, bearing with it the promise of some exciting matches in the English Premier League.
Our first feature game for EPL Matchweek 13 will mark the highly publicised return of Jose Mourinho to management as the Portuguese takes charge of his first match for Tottenham Hotspur with a trip to West Ham United at Saturday lunchtime.

League leaders Liverpool will be in London for a bout against Crystal Palace, second-placed Leicester City will be on the road against Brighton & Hove Albion and Arsenal will play host to Southampton, with all the three matches kicking off at 3pm.
The biggest bit of action this weekend will see champions Manchester City welcome Frank Lampard’s Chelsea to the Etihad in the last piece of action on Saturday.

Leg 1 – West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur

Jose Mourinho’s managerial reign at Tottenham Hotspur begins this weekend with a cross-city trip to the London Stadium for a match against West Ham United.
There was plenty to suggest that something needed to be done to arrest 14th-placed Tottenham’s rapid decline, but little to indicate that it would all end with the firing of Mauricio Pochettino — the man responsible for Tottenham’s resurgence in recent years.
Nonetheless, Mourinho is going to mark his return to the Premier League by ending Tottenham’s run of five league games without a win as Spurs beat a West Ham United side that has also failed to win any of their last five EPL games.

Leg 2 – Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
Saturday, November 23 – 3pm GMT – Selhurst Park, London
Liverpool will put their impressive unbeaten run on the line this weekend when they take on Crystal Palace in London.
The Reds maintained their eight-point lead at the summit of the table by thrashing champions Manchester City 3-1 in their final piece of action before the international break.
Whereas Liverpool have been imperious in the league, Crystal Palace have struggled, managing just one win their last five Premier League games to spiral down to 12th place.
Given Liverpool’s sheer dominance in the league this season, Jurgen Klopp’s side should cruise to victory at Selhurst Park.

Leg 3 – Brighton & Hove Albion vs Leicester City
Saturday, November 23 – 3pm GMT – Amex Stadium, Brighton
Second-placed Leicester City will take the trip to the seaside this Saturday for a match against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Foxes have exceeded expectations this season under Brendan Rodgers, winning eight of their opening 12 games to climb to second on the ladder.
Brighton have not fared badly either, winning four games and drawing three to sit 11th in the standings. However, an upset against Leicester this Saturday might be a bridge too far for Graham Potter’s side.
Leicester City to win – +100 at Bovada
Leg 4 – Arsenal vs Southampton
Saturday, November 23 – 3pm GMT – Emirates Stadium, London
Arsenal will be hoping to return to winning ways when they welcome the struggling Saints to the Emirates this Saturday.
Things haven’t been rosy for Unai Emery, who has managed just a single win in his last five Premier League outings. That run has seen the Gunners slip to sixth in the table, one place below newly promoted Sheffield United.

That, however, is nothing in comparison to the state of affairs at St Mary’s, as Southampton are second from bottom with only two wins from their 12 league games.
This is a must-win match for Arsenal, and one that should inject some much-needed confidence into the side.

Leg 5 – Manchester City vs Chelsea
Saturday, November 23 – 5:30pm GMT – Etihad Stadium, Manchester
The most anticipated match of the weekend will see Manchester City lock horns with Chelsea in a fiery contest at the Etihad.
Frank Lampard’s Blues have been on an impressive run of form, winning six successive Premier League matches to climb to third on the table.

Man City, meanwhile, have slipped to fourth in the standings after copping a heavy loss at Anfield in their last game before the break.
The champions will want to make a statement and should beat a Blues side that has not played anyone inside the current top nine since September.
