Plenty will be at stake when Liverpool welcome arch-rivals Manchester United to Anfield this weekend, with the Reds looking to widen their lead atop the table.

Jurgen Klopp’s men hold a 14-point advantage over second-placed Manchester City, whereas United sit a further 13 points back of the leaders and five points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea in the hunt for a Champions League spot.

Although the Reds are yet to suffer defeat in the league this season, they came dangerously close last October at Old Trafford when they were saved only by a late Adam Lallana equaliser.

Given the passionate and intense nature of the rivalry between these giants of the North West, both sides have a good chance of getting on the score sheet this weekend.
