EPL Matchweek 28 betting odds & parlay predictions

The title might be all but sorted, but the races for survival and European football continue this weekend with Matchweek 28 of the 2019-20 English Premier League season.

Third-placed Leicester City will be away to Norwich City on Friday night in our first feature match, while Chelsea will be on the road against Bournemouth on Saturday at 3pm and champions-in-waiting Liverpool will travel to Watford later in the day.

Manchester United will be on Merseyside for a bout with Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton in the first of only two EPL games to be played on Sunday, the other seeing Tottenham Hotspur lock horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Leicester City will look to end a run of four games without a win when they face Norwich City at Carrow Road on Friday night.

Although the Foxes have managed just one win from their last five games in the Premier League, they currently sit third on the table and hold a six-point advantage over fourth-placed Chelsea.

Norwich have also churned out one win in their last five EPL games, but the Canaries sit at the foot of the table on 18 points, seven points away from safety.

As such, Daniel Farke’s side look destined to sustain their 18th loss of the season when they line up against Leicester this weekend.

Chelsea will be hoping to put on another imposing performance when they head to the south coast to face Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth this Saturday.

Having gone four games without a win in the Premier League, Frank Lampard and his charges arrested the decline last weekend with a critical 2-1 result over Tottenham Hotspur that ensured the Blues held onto fourth place in the EPL standings.

With two successive defeats in the league, Bournemouth are only two points above the drop zone as they embark on a treacherous run home that includes dates with Liverpool, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Manchester United, Tottenham, Leicester City and Manchester City.

After a crushing loss to Burnley last week, it doesn’t seem like the Cherries will trouble Chelsea even though they have the home advantage.

Liverpool can take another giant leap towards the Premier League crown when they travel to Hertfordshire this Saturday for a duel with Watford.

The Reds had to fight hard for their 3-2 win over West Ham United on Monday night, their 26th victory of this incredible campaign.

Having extended their unbeaten run in the EPL to 44 games, only five games short of the record set by Arsenal’s Invincibles in 2003-04, Jurgen Klopp’s side look poised to register a confident win over a Watford outfit who sit second from bottom.

Manchester United have had a rosy spell since returning from the winter break, winning twice in the league while avoiding defeat in the first leg of the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League.

The two successive wins in the league have elevated the Red Devils to fifth in the EPL standings on 41 points, three points adrift of Chelsea in fourth.

Everton have done a decent job since the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti in December, moving all the way from the relegation zone to 11th on the table.

The Toffees have scored in each of their last six games in the EPL and could trouble Ole Gunner Solkjaer’s side, who will be in action on Thursday night against Club Brugge in the Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to get something out of their testing match with visiting Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

With three wins from their last five Premier League outings, Spurs have steadily climbed to sixth on the ladder to sit a point behind fifth-placed Manchester United and four points shy of fourth-placed Chelsea.

Having gone three league matches without a win, Wolverhampton breezed past Norwich City last weekend to stay in eighth place and move within a point of Spurs.

Given the recent history between these two sides, this encounter should be a close affair with action at both ends.
