Aston Villa v Brighton & Hove Albion

With both clubs come into this game having won four of their past five EPL matches, it should be an exciting contest. We have a lot of confidence in this Newcastle side, and they should win this game easily. Burnley are sitting in 19th and simply do not have the talent to compete with teams in the top half of the table. Newcastle have scored 16 goals through six games and are very capable of blowing teams out. At home, that is exactly what should happen, so the Toon against the spread is the pick.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester City

Julian Alvarez has really stepped up for Manchester City in the absence of Kevin De Bruyne. The Argentine has scored four goals in his past five games across all competitions, and now City will take on a Wolves team that is conceding an average of two goals per game. Wolverhampton will be limited when it comes to defending City, and the attention placed on Erling Haaland will free up Alvarez to do some damage in front of goal.

Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool

This is unequivocally the most exciting match of the weekend. Fourth-placed Tottenham will host second-placed Liverpool in a clash of teams that have yet to lose a Premier League game this season. While Liverpool are away, we simply trust them more to win this game. Spurs look like a new team this season, but they are winless in their last 10 matches against the Reds, who have won eight of those meetings. In a matchup that could go either way, we’re siding with history.
