EPL Saturday betting picks & predictions – Matchweek 7

EPL Matchweek 7 preview

With eight English Premier League games on tap this Saturday in Matchweek 7, we should be in for an action-packed day of top-flight football. The likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Tottenham will be in action, and we have free EPL betting picks for their games and more.

Aston Villa v Brighton & Hove Albion

With both clubs come into this game having won four of their past five EPL matches, it should be an exciting contest. And although Aston Villa are at home, we are taking Brighton at decent odds with the top soccer betting sites. The Seagulls have scored the most goals (18) of any EPL team so far, and their attack has been dominant. They have scored seven goals in two away games, and we expect them to continue bagging goals in this contest.

Brighton to win

Bournemouth v Arsenal

Arsenal should cruise to victory in this game against a far inferior Bournemouth side, and their star attacking midfielder should once again make a huge impact. Martin Odegaard has kicked off the season in fine form, and with Bukayo Saka expected to miss this game, the Norwegian will be counted on even more than usual. Odegaard has had at least three shots in each of his last four EPL games, and we like his odds to convert one of those this weekend.

Martin Odegaard anytime goalscorer

Newcastle United v Burnley

We have a lot of confidence in this Newcastle side, and they should win this game easily. Burnley are sitting in 19th and simply do not have the talent to compete with teams in the top half of the table. Newcastle have scored 16 goals through six games and are very capable of blowing teams out. At home, that is exactly what should happen, so the Toon against the spread is the pick.

Newcastle -1.5

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester City

Julian Alvarez has really stepped up for Manchester City in the absence of Kevin De Bruyne. The Argentine has scored four goals in his past five games across all competitions, and now City will take on a Wolves team that is conceding an average of two goals per game. Wolverhampton will be limited when it comes to defending City, and the attention placed on Erling Haaland will free up Alvarez to do some damage in front of goal.

Julian Alvarez anytime goalscorer

Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool

This is unequivocally the most exciting match of the weekend. Fourth-placed Tottenham will host second-placed Liverpool in a clash of teams that have yet to lose a Premier League game this season. While Liverpool are away, we simply trust them more to win this game. Spurs look like a new team this season, but they are winless in their last 10 matches against the Reds, who have won eight of those meetings. In a matchup that could go either way, we’re siding with history.

Liverpool to win
