EPL Saturday betting tips & value picks – Matchweek 6

Premier League MW6 preview

The English Premier League returns with a full slate for Matchweek 6. After a week of Champions League games, certain teams may start to feel the effects of all the matches on the schedule. Five games are set to kick off this Saturday, and these are our top EPL betting picks for those fixtures.

Crystal Palace v Fulham

Fulham have been solid to open the season but have struggled when playing the EPL’s elite clubs. Fortunately for them, Crystal Palace are not elite, and although the Eagles are a talented team, Fulham have a stronger midfield unit that they can use to control the ball in this game. Palace also lack the attacking prowess to take advantage of a beatable Fulham defence, so the away side should do enough to win or draw this one.

Manchester City v Nottingham Forest

In the absence of Kevin De Bruyne, Julian Alvarez has really stepped up for Manchester City. The 23-year-old has four goals in his last five appearances for the Cityzens, and we like him to add to that tally. While Nottingham Forest have surprised defensively to this point, City have scored 14 goals in five EPL matches, and we believe they will find ways to create chances in this game.

Brentford v Everton

Brentford have really stumbled out of the gate in this Premier League campaign, but they have a glorious chance to get three points at home in this spot. Everton have one point through five games and look like a relegation candidate. Also, the Toffees have only mustered two goals in that span. If Brentford’s attack can get a goal, that should be enough against this stale Everton attack.

Burnley v Manchester United

While Manchester United’s attacking unit has only scored six goals in five EPL games, they have a golden opportunity to pile in the goals against a Burnley side that has conceded 12 timew in four games. As a result, we like Marcus Rashford to find the net in this battle. After grabbing 17 Premier League goals last season, the Englishman has only scored one goal thus far through five matches this term. That being said, this is a prime opportunity for him, and his odds to score justify a bet.
