The fate of quite a number of teams will be sealed by the time Sunday’s UEFA European Championship qualifiers kick off, with many of the top European nations just playing to see out the competition. Our Euro 2020 multi bet for the final wave of games features several big hitters, including the defending champions and the World Cup holders.
Euro 2020 qualifiers multi odds
• Portugal to win both halves
• England to win
• France to win/under 2.5 goals
• Italy half-time/Italy full-time
Soccer multi odds = -149.25 at Bovada
Leg 1 – Luxembourg vs Portugal
Sunday, November 17 – 3pm local – Stade Josy-Barthel, Luxembourg City
Portugal cannot afford to rest on their laurels ahead of their last match of the Euro 2020 qualifying round.
The European champions are second in Group B on 14 points, some five points adrift of leaders Ukraine and only one point ahead of third-placed Serbia. Ukraine have already secured automatic qualification, so it is a matter of who blinks first between the Portuguese and the Serbs.
As such, nothing but a big win against Luxembourg will suffice for Portugal coach Fernando Santos.
Prediction: Portugal to win both halves – -149.25 at Bovada
Leg 2 – Kosovo vs England
Sunday, November 17 – 6pm local – Fadil Vokkri Stadium, Prishtina
England sewed up top spot in Group A with their 7-0 pounding of Montenegro during the week, so the pressure is off for their trip to Prishtina.
Kosovo’s 2-1 loss to Czech Republic means they will have to take the long route in their first-ever Euro qualifying bid. They are currently on track for the playoffs, but a heavy defeat on Sunday could knock them out of the running.
While the underdogs scored three goals at Wembley in the reverse leg and will fancy their chances at home, England should do enough to get it done.
Prediction: England to win – -188.68 at Bovada
Leg 3 – Albania vs France
Sunday, November 17 – 8:45pm local – Arena Kombetare, Tiran
France went to the top of Group H with their 2-1 win over Moldova, but they could still slip to second place if Turkey defeat Andorra as expected.
Seven points off second and three points behind third-placed Iceland, Albania’s chances of progressing any farther are slim to none. If they upset the French and Iceland stumble against Moldova, however, the Eagles might sneak into a playoff place.
While les Bleus are guaranteed to go through, their last few outings have left a lot to be desired. Do not be surprised if this is a low-scoring affair.
Prediction: France to win/under 2.5 goals – +210 at Bovada
Leg 4 – Italy vs Armenia
Monday, November 18 – 8:45pm local – Renzo Barbera, Palermo
Italy will play host to Armenia on Monday evening as they wrap up what has been an imperious Euro qualifying campaign.
Having won all eight of their qualifiers, a record only matched by Belgium in the tournament, Roberto Mancini’s side sits at the summit of Group J on 24 points with a nine-point buffer on second-placed Finland.
With qualification already secured, Gli Azzurri look poised to finish off in style against third-placed Armenia as they endeavour to conquer the European Championship for the first time since 1968.
Prediction: Italy half-time lead/Italy to win – -175.44 at Bovada
