Fanduel to launch sportsbook and casino sites app in Ontario, Canada

FanDuel is looking to extend its services into the Canadian market making its first stop in Ontario. Its expansion is subject to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) registration, and also completing an Operating Agreement with iGaming Ontario.

FanDuel plans came on board in advance of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) launching the regulated market for one game Canadian sports betting in Ontario slated to start on Monday 4 April 2022.

Bettors will gain access to FanDuel’s embedded online casino as well as the independent casino app. Powered by IGT’s PlaySports platform, Fanduel will provide features like the Same Game Parlay bets, odds boosts, Information Visuals, and a streaming alternative for sports matches.

Over 250 titles in live dealer will be launched by Fanduel Casino, including random number generation and slot games. The Payment gateway will be through Nuvei, which stands for one single point for multiple payment choices; they include PayPal, Interac, MasterCard, and Visa.

One of FanDuel’s partners is Napier, the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions provider, which will make sure financial crime compliance as well as secured gaming for bettors.
