Holly Holm value tips & free bets for UFC Fight Night Singapore

Holly Holm UFC

Holly Holm UFCUFC Fight Night Singapore – Holm vs. Correia – Saturday, June 17, 8am.

THE UFC moves to Singapore where the always-popular Holly Holm takes on Brazilian “Pitbull” Bethe Correia.

Since beating the seemingly-untouchable Ronda Rousey for the title at UFC 193, it has been a slippery slope for Holly Holm, who has looked poor in three fights since.

The boxing champion lost her title to Meisha Tate (who has since retired) at UFC 196 and losses to Valentina Shevchenko and Germaine de Randamie were not expected by bettors.

Holm doesn’t have any regrets about her career decisions since beating Rousey, which included not waiting for a re-match.

“I’m never going to sit there and say I coulda, shoulda, woulda done this,” Holm said.

“The only thing I do with I coulda, shoulda, woulda done is just win whatever fight I had, not wait for the one fight.

“I don’t ever feel like that. My whole career is not defined around one fight. This is my whole career, and the only thing I regret is not doing better in the fights that I’ve had.”

Holm will need to get back on track quickly as the -625 favorite, which is a crazy line set by bookmakers and although Correia hasn’t been the force many thought she would be, her form coming into this fight is better.

The size difference between the taller Holm will give her an advantage, but Correia has a tenacity about her and despite getting embarrassed by Ronda Rousey, this is a completely different fight.

Meisha Tate has come out and supported Holm – stating the “Preacher’s Daughter” takes on the best in the world and puts up a fight.

“She’s always willing to fight the best in the world, and she’s had a tough run at it. People will say ‘oh she’s lost her last three fights’ but to who? All very, very tough, credible people,” Tate said.

“Now she’s fighting Bethe Correia, who I don’t think is on the caliber or level of any of Holly’s last four fights.”

We can’t tip Holly Holm at such short odds, but we do think this fight will be stopped before the fifth round.

The odds for the fight to go past 4.5 rounds is -133 at 5Dimes and that’s where the value is.

Arlovski vs. Tybura fight pick

Two no-nonsense fighters will square in the Octagon on Saturday morning as hot-favorite Marcin Tybura takes on Andrei Arlovski.

Arlovski is an experienced member of the UFC with 40 fights and he’s a real knockout threat, but he’s also a man of out form having lost his last four fights.

Three of those losses came via knockout and he comes up against a man who is riding a two fight winning streak, hence the bookmakers odds for Tybura.

Since losing to Timothy Johnson by unanimous decision in April last year, Tybura has scored two knockout wins including a Performance of the Night honor at UFC Fight Night in August, 2016.

The Polish fighter is the -263 favorite to continue his winning run and it would take a brave man to wager against the big man.

Include Tybura in your UFC Fight Night parlay plays.

Hyun Kim vs. Covington prediction

This should be the most exciting fight on the card as Dong Hyun Kim takes on Colby Covington.

Both fighters possess great striking, grappling and wrestling abilities, which means this fight will likely go to the ground and many bettors think -260 favourite Covington will have the advantage on the deck.

Covington has won his last three fights by three different methods and there is talk that he could be the next big thing in this division, but bettors shouldn’t rule out Hyun Kim, who, if nothing else, has an awesome nickname of “The Stun Gun”.

The South Korean is riding his own winning streak since losing to Tyrone Woodley and that’s no shame on your record.

He also owns a Performance of the Night and a Knockout of the Night honor, which makes him a very watchable fighter and one we think could pull off the upset.

His superior reach advantage will make it tough for Covington to get close enough to take him down to the canvas and there are very little holes to the game of Hyun Kim.

+234 for Hyun Kim is worth taking for value bettors.

Saffiedine vs. Dos Anjos pick

This should be one of the most one-sided fights of the day with Dos Anjos holding the class edge over his rival.

The Brazilian has been around the blocks in the UFC with 25 wins and nine losses. Taking on Saffiedine who has had 16 wins will be play into Dos Anjos’ hands and the bookmakers look to have set the market spot on.

The #5 ranked lightweight lost to Tony Ferguson in November and hasn’t fought since, but that was a Fight of the Night performance and Ferguson is one of the best fighters in the company.

Losing his title to Eddie Alvarez was tough for the proud man, but this looks to be an easy kill to get back on the radar and the -370 should be included in all parlay options.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see Dos Anjos win via knockout.
