The Los Angeles Rams have won two in a row and now head to Pittsburgh to face the suddenly hot Steelers in a non-conference showdown in Week 10 of the 2019 NFL season.
The Rams have won their last two games after losing three in a row, but those victories came against opponents that have a combined tally of one win this season. LA are at 5-3 in second place in the NFC West and trail the 8-0 San Francisco 49ers, against whom they have already lost in 2019.
While they have not played good teams in their last two games, the Rams have outscored their opponents 61-20 while giving up only 10 points in each game. Also, they should be well rested after a bye week.
The Steelers have won three in a row and in their last game beat a solid Indianapolis Colts team 26-24. It is hard to believe after their terrible start, but Pittsburgh are now 4-4 and if the season ended today, they would make the playoffs as the seventh seed in the AFC.
In their last game the Rams beat the winless Cincinnati Bengals 24-10. They did, however, give up 401 total yards, including 297 passing yards.

Jared Goff passed for 372 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Cincy game and Cooper Kupp went big for a season-high 220 receiving yards. Darrell Henderson Jr. rushed for 49 yards to lead the Rams and Todd Gurley chimed in with 44 rushing yards.
Gurley has been far from a star this season. He has failed to rush for over 51 yards in his last five games and is only averaging 3.9 yards per carry.
The Steelers had a little luck in their win over Indy, as Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri missed a 43-yard go-ahead field goal with 1:14 remaining. Pittsburgh had fewer yards (328 to 273) but forced three turnovers while committing two.
Mason Rudolph passed for 191 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the win over the Colts. The run game was not great with 45 of their 90 rushing yards coming on one run by Trey Edmunds, who led the team with 73 yards. James Conner, who leads the Steelers on the season with 380 rushing yards, missed the last game with a shoulder injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday.
Pittsburgh rank 10th in pass defense and 16th in run defense, while the Rams sit 19th against the pass and 10th facing the run.

The Steelers had Lady Luck on their side in the last game, but that luck will run out this weekend. While the Rams have not played good teams in their last two games, they will have a solid all-around game in this one. LA will win and cover the spread to snap Pittsburgh’s three-game win streak.
