First Round betting picks

Utah State vs UCLA

These two look very closely matched, and typically the 7–10 seeds shake up the brackets the most. The -232.56 for UCLA is too short to entertain, showing great value for Utah State at +169, who will be gunning for a deep run in the tournament following last year’s success.

UC San Diego vs Michigan

Michigan should come away comfortably with this one, and with a line set at only -2.5 at -112.36, punters will be looking to smash this while they can. Michigan have covered the line in their last three games and will be looking to continue that as they head into their tournament.

Georgia vs Gonzaga

With Gonzaga averaging 86.6 points per game (second in the nation) and Georgia posting 75.6, this matchup sets up for a high-scoring affair. Both teams push the tempo, and Gonzaga’s elite offense should dictate the pace. Georgia’s defense allows 69.3 PPG but struggles against high-powered attacks, making it vulnerable to Gonzaga’s efficiency. As such, the over 151.5 at -120.48 looks like a strong play.
