The 2023 F1 season continues this weekend as we head to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez for the 2023 Mexico City Grand Prix.

Despite a dramatic Grand Prix last weekend in Austin, Texas, it was another great weekend for 2023 champion Max Verstappen, who won both the sprint race and the Sunday race. McLaren’s Lando Norris continued his excellent run with a fifth consecutive podium finish, while Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were disqualified after both of their cars failed to meet regulations.

In the 23rd edition of the Mexican GP this weekend, it will be Verstappen who once again comes in as the heavy favourite, having won four of the last five Grand Prix at the track. Other drivers to watch this weekend are the British pair of Hamilton and Norris, who have been in excellent form over the last few races.

F1 Mexican Grand Prix betting tips

As the heavy favourite in the race, Max Verstappen is the obvious choice in this race. With excellent form both historically and this season, he is a safe bet to win it.

With his position under threat due to his performance this season, Sergio Perez put in an improved performance in Austin to take 16 points away from last weekend. At his home Grand Prix this weekend, expect the Red Bull driver to rise to the occasion with a podium finish.

On a track with multiple long straights, Williams will be hoping their impressive straight-line speed translates to points this weekend. After scoring points in each of the last two races, Williams driver Alex Albon should be pushing for a solid total in favourable conditions.
