The Celtics lead this series 3-2

Facing elimination on their home court against a hobbled Boston side, the Milwaukee Bucks are a five-point favorite with the points total sitting at 199.5 at Bovada.lv.

The Celtics took a 3-2 lead in this best of seven series with a 92-87 win over the Bucks in Game 5 and they look to close out the series in this game.

The Celtics got back to playing good defense in the Game 5 win, holding Milwaukee to 36.8% shooting. Boston needed good defence in the game, as they did not have the best shooting night themselves (42%) and they had 18 turnovers, while only forcing 11.

In the two wins in the series for the Bucks, they put up 104 points and 116 points respectively before only going for 87 in the Game 5 loss.

Al Horford came up big in Game 5, leading the Celtics with 22 points on 7/15 shooting and he also had 14 rebounds. He had not gone for over 16 points since Game 1 of the series. Marcus Smart returned from injury and gave Boston a boost with nine points off the bench.

One of the big questions for this game for Boston is which Jaylen Brown will show up? In Games 2 and 4 of this series he went for at least 30 points, while in Games 3 and 5 he failed to score over 14 points. The Celtics will need his offense in this game, especially if their defense plays like it did in the two losses in Milwaukee.

The Bucks must get off to a better start in Game 6 at home, as in the Game 5 loss they were outscored by eight points in the first quarter only putting up 15 points and they were down by 10 at the half.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was one assist shy of a triple-double in the Game 5 loss, but he also only had 16 points after going for 27 in the previous game. Khris Middleton has been pretty consistent to say the least, as he has scored 23 points in each of the last three games of the series.

It is pretty simple for Milwaukee, as they have to shoot the rock better in this game. Coming into Game 5 they led all teams in the playoffs shooting 54% from the floor, but only shooting 36.8% in the last game will not cut it.

The Bucks have covered the spread in four of the five games in this series.

Milwaukee has their backs against the wall down 3-2, but they are at home in this game. Home cooking has been the trick in this series and that will continue with the Bucks taking Game 6 in a close contest. However, since the game will be a close one, the Celtics will cover the 5-point spread at Bovada.
