To say there are a couple of big games in the Eastern Conference on Friday would be a major understatement.

Obviously, every playoff game is big, but the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors are both on the road in a couple of Game 6’s and looking to close out their respective series.

Both the Cavs and Raptors are up 3-2 and each won Game 5 at home. The Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers each have to win in their house in the Game 6 on Friday to force a Game 7 on the road.

All odds for the NBA playoffs are provided Bovada.lv, which is offering new members a 50% Welcome Bonus up to $250. New players just have to make their first deposit at Bovada and then they will get half of their deposit in bonus money up to $250.

Toronto Raptors vs. Washington Wizards

Friday April 27, 7 PM EST at Capital One Arena Washington, DC

After losing two straight in the Nation’s Capital, the Raptors won Game 5 at home 108-98. The home team has won every game in this series and the Raptors have to reverse that trend to advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals.

While the Raptors were dominated on the glass in the Game 5 win, they shot 46,3% from the floor, held Washington to 41.1% shooting and 19.2% 3-pt shooting, and they also forced 18 turnovers.

DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry combined for 49 points in the Game 5 win and they also each shot at least 50% from the floor. DeRozan will get his points, but the Wizards have to keep him from shooting a high FG%, as in the two games in Washington he only shot 34.5% and 45.5%, respectively, from the floor.

John Wall and Bradley Beal combined fort 46 points in the Game 5 loss, but neither shot 50% from the floor and they combined to miss nine of their 12 3-pointers. They have to shoot the rock well in this game and Wall has to hold onto the rock after having seven turnovers in the Game 5 loss.

This game basically boils down to, which backcourt duo will play better? While the home team is 5-0 in this series I think DeRozan will come up big and the Raptors will win a very close game and close out the series.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers

Friday April 27, 8:00 PM EST at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Indianapolis, IN

Big shocker, LeBron James does it again. In the Cavs 98-95 win in Game 5 he blocked a shot with a few seconds remaining in a tie game and then hit a game-winning 3-pointer as time expired.

In Game 5 Cleveland shot a lower FG% (41.3% to 47.9%) and had more turnovers (17-14), but still got the big win. James bailed out the team again, as the Cavs had a double-digit lead in the 4th quarter, but went cold allowing the Pacers back in.

King James did it all in Game 5 with 44 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists and while Kyle Korver went for 19 points Kevin Love struggled again only going for 11 points on 2/11 shooting. It would make it much easier on Cleveland if Love can get going, as in the last two games in the series he has combined for 16 points on a combined 4/21 shooting.

The Pacers have lost the last two games of the series and while both games were close their big gun of Victor Oladipo has really struggled. In Game 5 he only had 12 points on 2/15 shooting and in Game 4 he had 17 points on 5/20 shooting. He MUST shoot the pill better, as he is a combined 7/35 in the last two games where the Pacers only lost by a combined seven points. He has gotten help in the last couple of games and Domantas Sabonis has come off the bench to combine for 41 points in the last two games, but for Indy to force a Game 7 Oladipo has to be the man.

Even with Oladipo’s struggles the Pacers have had their chances in the last two games. However, they will not get them in Game 6, as Love will rebound and James will carry the team to a win and Cleveland will close out the series on the road.
