NBA Tuesday betting picks, parlay bet & top odds – 3/15/2022

NBA strikes partnership with The Stars Group

The NBA returns tonight with a light four game slate that should feature some really interesting basketball. Last night was an awesome night that saw Karl Anthony Towns have the first 60 point game of the season. It also showcased a matchup between MVP favorites where Nikola Jokic outdueled Joel Embiid and further stamped his case as the MVP of the league. While tonight only has four games, there are still some good picks on the board. Here are the best bets for tonight’s slate.

Brooklyn Nets at Orlando Magic

This game is not super interesting as it appears like it will be relatively lopsided. No one is arguing that the Magic are better than the Nets and it appears that the Nets have figured it out and turned the corner. Led by Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the Nets have won their last three and it looks like they have turned the corner. They are still 6-14 in their last 20 games but despite that, the Nets are a true championship contender. This is a tough spot for them, however, as flying out to Orlando is always tough on the body.

It is a clear look ahead game for the Nets. They have bigger fish to fry than the Orlando Magic, who will be contending for the first overall pick. However, because of that, the Magic are actually a good bet. They don’t have the talent of the Nets but they play fun basketball where they shoot a ton of threes. If those hit, the talent of the Magic doesn’t necessarily matter. For a bad team, the Magic have the ability to win any game due to their style and while they aren’t expected to win, taking them +10 at home is good value.

Phoenix Suns at New Orleans Pelicans

The Suns are officially on title watch. After losing in the finals last year, they have rebounded very well and are one of the best teams in the NBA. They possess the best record in the NBA with a 54-14 record. They have been dominant and even though they haven’t had Chris Paul recently, they are still finding ways to win. This will be a tough game for them, however, as New Orleans has been pretty hot as of late. The trademark of the Suns is their defensive prowess and the Pelicans can combat that with their bevy of shooters. Although the Suns are the better team, the Pelicans should be able to keep this game close and cover the number.

The Pelicans got off to a terrible start but have stabilized and are battling for a play in game spot. Unlike the Suns, each of the Pelicans games are of paramount importance and have big implications on their playoff lives. The Pelicans have more motivation and will be playing at home, a place where they have had success this year. New Orleans is dealing with a lot of injuries but this game just means more to them. Because of that, the Pelicans +5.5 is the best bet available
