NCAA Football Saturday parlay picks and predictions

Only a few weeks remain in the 2019 NCAA Football regular season and the playoff picture is still unsettled. Here is a parlay pick for three of the college football games scheduled for this Saturday.

Penn State Nittany Lions at Ohio State Buckeyes

Penn State got over their first loss of the season by winning their last game, yet they head into the weekend as major underdogs. Their offense is balanced and averaging 36.8 ppg, but the team is led by a defense that is giving up only 13.5 ppg.

While the Nittany Lions have a solid defense, they have given up 58 points in their last two games. This week they face an Ohio State team that has scored at least 52 points in three of its last five games, including each of the last two.

The Buckeyes are undefeated and have a Heisman candidate at QB in Justin Fields, while star runner J.K. Dobbins has rushed for 1,289 yards this season. They also have the nation’s best defense, which is conceding an average of only 9.8 ppg.

The Buckeyes are giving a lot of points on the line, but they are still the pick in this game. Their offense will be too good at home as they easily beat Penn State and cover the spread.

TCU Horned Frogs at Oklahoma Sooners

TCU have a good offense, but their defense has had issues and is giving up an average of 26.9 ppg. Not good facing a Sooners team that can light it up. On top of that, in the Horned Frogs’ last four games the total has gone Over every time.

Two key head-to-head trends point to the Under in this game, but the total will definitely go Over in what will be a shootout.

The Hoosiers are a good team, but all four of their Big 10 wins have come facing teams that are currently under .500. They have also not beaten any ranked teams, while Michigan have beaten two in the top 25.

The Michigan defense will take over in this one as the Wolverines cover the spread for the fifth game running to keep their playoff hopes alive.
