Can anybody match Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints in the NFC this season?
Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints (+445 at Nags.bet) have the best NFL betting lines to win the NFC this season, but oddsmakers see it as a pretty close conference. Several other teams have solid NFL betting spreads – including last year’s NFC champions, the Los Angeles Rams.
The Saints head into the season with high hopes – and with good reason – behind the ageless Drew Brees, star WR Michael Thomas and a pretty good defense. After Thomas the WR corps is a question mark, which it was last season as well. Still, with Brees, Thomas, and all-purpose RB Alvin Kamara the New Orleans offense should be one of the best in the league yet again.

The Rams (+520) won the NFC last season and while Jared Goff and Todd Gurley lead an explosive offense they only scored three points in the Super Bowl. Two-time Defensive Player of the year Aaron Donald leads a defense that ranked 19th last season. LA have the goods on the field but also play a killer early schedule with their first three games facing the Panthers, Saints, and Browns.
The Chicago Bears (+700) were a surprise last season, going 12-4 and winning the NFC North division. The team is led by a defense that ranked third in the league last season behind star LB Khalil Mack, who led the squad with 12.5 sacks. Mitchell Trubisky had a decent season under center and could use more help on the outside, and last season’s lead RB Jordan Howard is now with the Eagles, so there may be more pressure on the defense this season.

Can Aaron Rodgers stay healthy? That is the big key for the Green Bay Packers (+725), who missed out on the playoffs last season. New head coach Matt LaFleur looks to get Green Bay back to an elite team, but Rodgers has to stay on the field and he could use some help from the RB duo of Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones.
The Philadelphia Eagles (+725) had a second straight season without Carson Wentz finishing it and they no longer have star backup Nick Foles, who is now with the Jacksonville Jaguars. They picked up RB Jordan Howard in the off-season and drafted RB Miles Sanders in the second round. The Philly defense only ranked 23rd in the league last season and they have some new faces for that unit through the draft and some off-season free agent additions.

Kirk Cousins did not have the best first season for the Minnesota Vikings (+1075) and he has to be better this time around. He has a lot of pressure on him to get Minnesota back to the playoffs and the defense is still solid, ranking fourth in the league last season.
The Dallas Cowboys (+1100) are in the mix and they are looking to lock up QB Dak Prescott with a big contract. Ezekiel Elliot led the league in rushing last season and Prescott will have a full season from no.1 WR Amari Cooper. The defense for Dallas ranked seventh last season and should be solid again in 2019-20.
The Atlanta Falcons (+1200) are looking to rebound after a disappointing last season. The Seattle Seahawks (+1350) gave Russell Wilson a ton of money and he may have to shoulder more of the load with the Legion of Boom no longer leading the defense. The San Francisco 49ers may be a dark horse pick with NFC title odds of +1450 with a lot of young talent and Jimmy Garoppolo returning after missing most of last season with a knee injury.
