After eight NFL teams play on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, 11 more Week 12 games will kick off on Sunday. With a lot of good teams playing before Sunday, this slate isn’t the best, but we have NFL betting picks to hopefully liven up your viewing experience.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Houston Texans
1pm EST – NRG Stadium
This is going to be a great divisional matchup where the red-hot 6-4 Houston Texans will host the 7-3 Jacksonville Jaguars. This game will go a long way in deciding the AFC South winner, and this should be an intense, close battle. That being said, we are taking Jacksonville. They have a longer track record of success than Houston, and while Houston has a rising offense, Jacksonville possesses a solid defense that will limit their opponent’s offensive success. The Jags are 4-0 away from home, and we expect them to continue in this spot.
Jacksonville Jaguars -1
Atlanta Falcons vs Houston Texans
1pm EST – Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Bijan Robinson, the uber-talented rookie running back for the Falcons, is finally becoming the focal point of their offense. After having his workload managed for the beginning of the season, Bijan received a career high 22 carries and should see similar work for this contest. Bijan has two touchdowns over the past three weeks and at +130, we like his odds to score again here with the top sportsbooks.
Bijan Robinson Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers
1pm EST – Paycor Stadium
The Bengals may have lost their superstar QB Joe Burrow, for the season, but they still have a talented team that can make a playoff run. While Cincinnati’s offense will be worse than with Burrow, they will shut down a Steelers’ offense that has struggled all season long. Cincinnati still possesses a bunch of elite playmakers, and their backup QB Jake Browning should be good enough to get them the ball. Take the Bengals at home against the spread in a game that they should win, even without their best player.
Cincinnati Bengals +1.5
New York Giants vs New England Patriots
1pm EST – Metlife Stadium
This is a matchup between two awful teams, and it projects to be a pretty ugly game. That being said, the Giants will give the ball to Saquon Barkley a ton, and he is the most talented offensive player in this contest. While he has struggled to score for the duration of the season, Barkley scored twice last game and has been heavily featured. In this game, that shouldn’t change, and at +162 with Bovada, Barkley scoring is a great bet.
Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown
Philadelphia Eagles vs Buffalo Bills
4pm EST – Lincoln Financial Field
This is projected to be a great game between two teams with elite offenses and solid but not great defenses. This game will likely come down to who wins the turnover battle, and considering the Bills’ issues protecting the ball in recent weeks, we like the Eagles. Philadelphia are 10-1 and widely considered the best team in the NFL. While the Bills can beat anyone on any given week, the Eagles should play this game at their pace, and at home, we like their odds.
Philadelphia Eagles -3
Los Angeles Chargers vs Baltimore Ravens
8pm EST – SoFi Stadium
This Sunday Night game also projects to be a fun one. With the over/under set at 48 points, the books expect each offense to show up, and this one could go either way. Considering the Chargers’s awful defense, we cannot side with them. Baltimore has one of the best defenses in the league, and while they will struggle with a very good Chargers offense, they will be able to outscore them with ease. Take the Ravens to win against the spread as they continue their push for the number one seed in the AFC.
Baltimore Raven -3.5
