Week Three is officially underway and we have another full slate coming up this NFL Sunday. On Week Three’s Thursday Night Football opener, the Cleveland Browns defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 29-17 and set up an interesting slate of games. This Sunday features 14 matchups and we have found our best picks across all the games. Here they are.
Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills
This is an interesting battle between two of the highest achieving teams this season. Right now, both of them are 2-0 and look set up for a playoff run. The Dolphins are home underdogs in this matchup and it is a divisional game. That meets the requirements for one of our favorite betting trends and we are riding with that again. The Dolphins have a high powered offense and have averaged 31 points per game up to this point. Their offseason acquisition of Tyreek Hill has been a resounding success through two weeks and he provides a spark to this offense that defenses have struggled to deal with. The Bills will be without two of their best secondary defenders and it will difficult for them to slow down this Dolphin’s passing attack.
Betting against the Bills is quite scary, however, as they look every bit the Super Bowl contender they were projected to be. The Bills are averaging 36 points per game and have won both of their games by a margin of at least 21 points. Their offense is borderline unstoppable and Josh Allen has been the best QB in the NFL thus far. That being said, the Bills will be without three key defensive starters this weekend and the Dolphins have the offensive talent to exploit those absences. When you combine that with Miami playing at home, the Dolphins have a clear edge in the contest. Take the Dolphins +5.5 in what will likely be the game of the weekend.
Miami Dolphins +5.5
Tyler Boyd Anytime Touchdown Scorer
+225
Tyler Boyd is the starting slot receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals and he should have a big game this coming weekend. The Bengals are taking on the New York Jets and should be in for their first win of the season. Boyd is the clear third option in the Bengals passing attack but that will work in his favor in this game. The Jets possess two great boundary cornerbacks who will attempt to shut down the Bengals top weapons, Jamarr Chase and Tee Higgins. The focus will be on those players and this will allow Boyd to roam freely throughout the Jets defense. At +225
with Bovada, Tyler Boyd is a great bet to score his second touchdown of this young NFL season and continue his solid start to the year.
Tyler Boyd Anytime Scorer
Davante Adams Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Davante Adams is one of the best receivers in the NFL and he has already scored in both games this season. He plays for the Las Vegas Raiders who are up against the Tennessee Titans this week. Last weekend, the Titans took on the Bills and the Bills’ number one receiver, Stefon Diggs, had three touchdowns. Simply put, the Titans are having no success when it comes to covering elite wide receivers and Adams is firmly in that category. Even though the Titans know Adams will get the ball a lot, they should be powerless to stop him. Adams has 31 touchdown grabs over the past 32 games and he should add another TD to his impressive tally in this contest.

Denver Broncos vs San Francisco 49ers
This line is a prime example of an overcorrection. Coming into this season, there was a ton of optimism for the Broncos but they have struggled their way to a 1-1 start. While the Broncos have been uninspiring, no one should be surprised by their slow start. Denver acquired Russell Wilson in the offseason and it has taken some time for the QB to get settled with his new team. That makes sense, it is a completely different system from what he was used to in Seattle. From this point on, Russ and the Broncos should only get better and that will start this weekend in their home tilt against the Niners.
The Niners are an intriguing team. Last weekend, their second-year QB Trey Lance unfortunately fractured his ankle and will miss the rest of the season. Now, the Niners will turn to a familiar face, Jimmy Garoppolo. Garoppolo led the Niners to the NFC Championship Game last year and there is a narrative building that he makes this team better than Lance did. While Lance is young, that is an absurd narrative and Garoppolo will show that in the coming weeks. This is a tough away game for San Francisco and the Broncos clearly have the advantage here. Fade the public perception and take the Broncos as an underdog at home. They should look better this week and will be a team to watch as the season progresses.
Denver Broncos +1.5
Kyler Murray Anytime Touchdown Scorer
+210
Kyler is one of the most entertaining QB’s in the league due to his scrambling ability. He already has a rushing touchdown this season and now, his starting running back James Conner appears like he will miss this game. Conner is a great goal-line back and he had 15 rushing touchdowns last year. In turn Kyler only had five rushing touchdowns last year but the season before, without Conner, he had 11 rushing touchdowns. Simply, Kyler has to do more without Conner and considering the star runner projects to miss this game, there is added value on Kyler to score. +210 is a no brainer for a guy who is one of the best weapons in the NFL.
