The NFL Playoffs continue this Sunday with three exciting Wild Card matchups in the AFC and NFC.
Below are our top betting previews and tips for all three games.
Denver Broncos vs Buffalo Bills
Sunday, January 12 – 1:00pm EST – Highmark Stadium, New York
The Buffalo Bills come into this matchup as strong favorites with the top online betting sites against the Denver Broncos, who have exceeded expectations this season by earning a playoff spot.
Denver clinched their postseason berth with an emphatic 38-0 win over a rested Kansas City Chiefs team in Week 18, though they struggled in the two games prior. The Broncos’ success has been driven by their defense, which ranks third in the league in points allowed and is in the top 10 for takeaways.
Rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been impressive but has struggled with turnovers, which could prove costly. Wide receivers Courtland Sutton (+150) and Marvin Mims Jr. (+240) remain key targets, with Mims finding the endzone four times in the past two games.
The Bills, on the other hand, have been in red-hot form, winning 10 of their last 11 games before resting starters in Week 18. Led by MVP favorite Josh Allen (-250), Buffalo boasts the AFC’s best offense. Allen (-125), running back James Cook (-125), and wide receiver Khalil Shakir (+190) are the most likely scorers.
Buffalo’s high-powered offense should prove too much for Denver. Back the Bills to cover the -8.5 spread at -111.11 with Bovada.
Bills -8.5
Green Bay Packers vs Philadelphia Eagles
Sunday, January 12 – 4:30pm EST – Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
The second game of the day features two playoff contenders managing injured quarterbacks, as the Green Bay Packers visit the Philadelphia Eagles.
Green Bay’s recent form has been inconsistent, with narrow losses to the Vikings and Lions offset by dominant wins over the Saints and Seahawks. Quarterback Jordan Love, who injured his elbow in Week 18, is expected to start. Running back Josh Jacobs (+100) is a reliable scoring option, with a touchdown in each of his last eight games.
Philadelphia wrapped up the season with an impressive 14-3 record. Quarterback Jalen Hurts returns after a brief layoff, leading an offense that ranks second in the NFL in rushing yards. Saquon Barkley (-151.52) is the key rushing threat, while A.J. Brown (+140) and DeVonta Smith (+160) headline the receiving corps.
This game is expected to be close, with both teams leaning heavily on their rushing attacks. Back the Packers to cover the +5 spread at -111.11 with the top online casinos.
Packers +5
Washington Commanders vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Sunday, January 12 – 8:00pm EST – Raymond James Stadium, Tampa
The final Wild Card game of the day pits the Washington Commanders against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a closely matched contest.
Washington has been one of the league’s hottest teams, riding a five-game winning streak into the playoffs. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has led an offense that ranks fifth in points scored, while Brian Robinson Jr. (+110) and Daniels (+150) are the primary rushing threats. Terry McLaurin remains the top receiving option.
The Buccaneers, winners of six of their last seven games, are slight favorites at home. Veteran wide receiver Mike Evans (-120.48) has been a key performer, while rookies Bucky Irving (-163.93) and Jalen McMillan (+150) have added scoring punch.
While Tampa Bay has the edge in experience, the Commanders have been consistently impressive. Back Washington to pull off the upset at +140 with Bovada.
Commanders win
