Best bookmakers for NHL betting

There are six National Hockey League (NHL) betting games scheduled for Monday in the Americas, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (U.S.). Here’s where you should place your bets on the Monday games. All lines provided by Bovada.

Carolina Hurricanes @ Arizona Coyotes

The Coyotes are 10-2501 at home, and the Hurricanes are 21-12-4 on the road. Arizona has really struggled scoring lately, averaging just 1.6 goals scored per game over the last 10 games. The Coyotes have struggled stopping goals even more, averaging 5.3 goals allowed over that same stretch.

Carolina has allowed more goals per game (3) than its scored (2.9) over the last 10 games, and the Hurricanes are just 4-5-1 in that stretch. A trip to Arizona is just what the Hurricanes need to start blowing teams away again. Take Carolina on the moneyline and to win by two or more goals at -130. Parlay the Hurricanes with…

New Jersey Devils @ Vegas Golden Knights

Vegas got captain Matt Stone back for the playoff push but have fallen out of the playoff picture, losing three of five. The Devils also enter the day having lost three of five, but are 10-25-3 on the road. The Golden Knights are 21-14-3 at The Fortress this season.

New Jersey has allowed more goals per game (4.1) over its last 10 games than Vegas has scored per game (3.9). Expect Vegas to score at least four. The Knights have allowed 2.5 goals per game over their last 10, so consider betting that over six total goals are scored in this one.

Take Vegas to win at home and to win by two or more at -125. Parlaying the Golden Knights with the Hurricanes on the moneyline pays -156. Taking both teams to win by two or more goals results in parlay odds of +218.

Calgary Flames @ Chicago Blackhawks

Calgary plays at Nashville on Tuesday, so expect Dan Vladar to start for the Flames in net (.905 save percentage this season). Vladar will still be better than Chicago’s starter, however. No Blackhawks’ goaltender has a save percentage above .898.

Calgary has been excellent on the road (23-11-3), and the Blackhawks have been terrible in Chicago (12-20-6). The Flames have won four of five, and Chicago has lost four of five. The Blackhawks have won just one of their last 10 games, allowing 4.2 goals per game and scoring just 2.6 times per game. The Flames are 6-3-1 over their last 10, scoring 3.78 times per game and allowing 2.5 goals per game.

Bet on the Flames to extend their lead in the Pacific Division over Edmonton. Also consider taking Calgary to win by two or more goals at -105. A moneyline trifecta featuring Calgary, Carolina, and Vegas pays +120, and taking all three teams to win by at least two results in parlay odds of +521.

You might also consider betting that more than 6.5 total goals are scored given Chicago’s defensive struggles and Calgary’s hot offense. The Flames scored nine times against Arizona on Saturday. Betting the over pays +100.
