There are 12 National Hockey League (NHL) games scheduled for Saturday in the Americas, starting at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (U.S.). Here’s where you should place your bets on the Saturday games. All lines provided by Nags.bet.
Florida Panthers @ Ottawa Senators
Florida is the biggest favorite on Saturday despite playing again on Sunday, but many of the teams playing Saturday are scheduled to play Sunday. Expect Spencer Knight to start in goal for the Panthers, giving Ottawa a modest advantage in net.
Florida’s advantage on offense far exceeds Ottawa’s defensive advantage, however. The Senators have only allowed 2.84 goals per game on average but have only scored 2.59 goals per game this season. The Panthers average more than four goals scored per game and allow just 3.25 per game.
Take Florida on the moneyline and parlay them with…
Tampa Bay Lightning @ Detroit Red Wings
Tampa Bay is another team playing Saturday and Sunday, but at least they get to play early on Saturday. The Lightning also have two goalies that are better than any the Red Wings can start in net.
Tampa has lost three straight, having struggled to score goals over its last 10 games (2.6 per game on average). That’s exactly the same scoring average Detroit has posted over its last 10 games, however. With both teams struggling offensively, bet on the better goaltender. Take Tampa Bay on the moneyline and enjoy -120 odds when parlaying the Lightning with Florida.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Vegas Golden Knights
Vegas is looking to win its fifth straight game at The Fortress, where they’re 19-13-3. Chicago has won two straight at Los Angeles and Anaheim despite trading away goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, who’s expected to debut for the Wild against Columbus.
Chicago got an early season win against Vegas back when the Golden Knights were anything but golden health-wise. While Vegas will be without Zach Whitecloud and Michael Amadio due to COVID-19, starting goaltender Robin Lehner is back and should be enough to handle the Blackhawks anemic offense.
Chicago has averaged just 2.63 goals scored per game, and Vegas has allowed just three per game on average. While the Blackhawks have scored four goals in each of their last three games, expect them to fall back to Earth offensively in front of one of the loudest crowds in the sport in a must-win game for the Golden Knights.
Bet on Vegas to win and enjoy parlay odds of +175 when including Florida and Tampa Bay. The +140 odds on Vegas to win by two or more is also attractive.
