In the second of three title fights at UFC 259, Amanda ‘The Lioness’ Nunes (20-4-0) is looking to defend her featherweight championship against Megan Anderson (11-4-0). Nunes is the -1400 favourite with UFC betting sites, while the over/under is set at 1.5 rounds. Nunes is 13-2 by KO/TKO, 3-1 by submission, and 4-1 by decision in her career. On the flip side, Anderson is 6-0 by KO/TKO, 3-2 by submission, and 2-2 by decision in her career.

Amanda Nunes by points decision
There are a handful of bets we like in this fight, so let’s start with the obvious one. Unless you have a lot of spare change to throw around, betting on Nunes straight up is not profitable. Her last two title defenses both ended in victory by unanimous decision, so we like her to win on points once again.
Amanda Nunes in Round 4
Another bet we are looking at in favor of Nunes is her winning in the later rounds, specifically the fourth or fifth round. Anderson has never been in the championship rounds in the octagon. She may last the first three, but we like Nunes in either of the final two rounds. We say put a little of your bankroll on both outcomes.
Megan Anderson inside the distance
Anderson is a unique fighter in that she is six feet tall with a three-inch reach advantage on Nunes. If she can use her size to her advantage, she could shock the world and spring an upset. If she could find a way to do this somehow, we believe that it would be via KO/TKO, but a better pick at longer odds would be Anderson to seal the win inside the distance. If your bankroll is managed properly, you could bet this along with the above wagers on Nunes and potentially still turn a profit.
