About Live Dealer Blackjack Party
Evolution Gaming is a live dealer specialist, delivering casino games straight from a land-based environment – or so it seems. Their studios are based in Latvia and Malta and the company utilise blue and green screen technology so it appears the dealers are set up in a land-based casino – you can see other tables in the background when playing some of Evolution Gaming’s titles.
The dealers are streamed in real time via webcams so you can see and hear them – provided your speakers are on – on your desktop, laptop, smartphone or tablet. The games have been optimised for all devices and can accessed once you’ve logged in and have real money in your betting account.
Live Dealer Blackjack Party is one of the most unique titles in the catalogue due to the addition of a second dealer. The two dealers have been trained extensively in both blackjack and in TV so not only do they know how to guide the game efficiently they know how to bring excitement to it – chatting away to each other and to the players who can also talk in the chat box function. This is available in the top left hand corner and you can type in what you want to say (provided it isn’t profanity or rude) and join in on the fun. There’s also music in the background creating a party atmosphere.
Gameplay is speedier than land-based games too due to the Pre-Decision feature, which is only available on Evolution Gaming titles. This feature allows you to perform your action even before it’s your turn to speed the game up. You can Hit, Stand, Split or Double Down once you have your first two cards even if you’re seated seventh at the table.
Low stakes are also available here, which is not commonly found on live dealer games due to the overhead costs involved. So if you aren’t here for the entertainment factor – but the low limits instead – you can mute the sounds and play low limit blackjack.
Unlimited seats at Live Blackjack Party
When it comes to this live variant, there’s only seven seats available at any given time. However, up to 500 at a time can play due to the bet behind wager. This bet allows you to wager on the hand of a player seated at the table, with a minimum bet of $/€0.50 and a maximum of $/€100 available. You don’t make any decisions in the game – the player you are betting on does – unless you want to double your bet for when the player Doubles Down or Splits.
The main game which you can play once you get a seat at the table follows American blackjack rules with eight decks of 52 cards and Blackjack paying 3:2. The minimum bet on the table is $/€5, while the maximum is $/€1000.
Two side bets are available to make too.
This side bet wagers on your first two initial cards being a pair. A suited pair pays out 25:1, an unsuited coloured pair pays out 21:1, and a pair which doesn’t match in colour or suit pays out 6:1. You can only make this side bet if you’ve placed a blackjack wager with the minimum bet of $1 and the maximum of $250 available.
21+3 side bet
This side bet relies on your first two initial cards and the dealer’s revealed card to create a three card poker hand. Three of a suited kind pays 100:1, a Straight Flush pays 40:1, three of a kind pays 30:1, a three card Straight pays 10:1, and a three card Flush pays 5:1. Players can bet as little as $1 or as much as $250 on this side bet once they’ve made their base game bet.
Celebrity Blackjack Party
The two dealers are an incredible addition and there’s also another table following the same format but with two celebrity dealers instead – sometimes there’s just one. Don’t expect Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie to sit down and start dealing you cards but you may notice some actors and actresses from local TV shows.
The same minimum and maximum bets are available, as are the side bets. You can chat to these dealers too, in the same way you would in the standard Blackjack Party version in the top left hand corner. If you want to view what has been said you can click the speech bubble icon in the top right hand corner.
