This week’s Monday Night NFL contest is projected to be a fun divisional battle between the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles and the 4-5 Washington Commanders. As expected, the Eagles are favored to win by a lot but with these rivals, it could truly go either way. Here are our best picks for Week 10’s Monday Night feature.
Philadelphia Eagles vs Washington Commanders
The Eagles are one of the best teams in the NFL and are the last remaining undefeated team. They have steamrolled through their competition up to this point and they should have an easy time with a mediocre Washington side. When these teams met in week three, the Eagles prevailed by 16 points and the Commanders offense wasn’t able to move the ball at all. While Washington will have a different QB under center than they did in that game, it shouldn’t matter too much. The Eagles defense is too good and they will have an easy time with an inconsistent opponent. Take the Eagles to win big in a battle they should dominate.
Philadelphia Eagles -10.5
Miles Sanders Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Miles Sanders is the running back for the Philadelphia Eagles and he is having a tremendous season. Through eight games, Sanders has scored six touchdowns and the Philadelphia offensive line is giving him a ton of space. Against a bad Washington defensive front, Sanders should run wild. Also, the Eagles project to win this game by a lot and that means Sanders will be running the ball even more than normal in order to run out the clock. All this works is Sanders’ favor and he should be in line for a huge day.
Miles Sanders Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Devonta Smith Over 52.5 Yards
Devonta Smith is the second best receiver for the Eagles but he has a knack for some big games. Earlier in the season, when these two teams first matched up, Smith rattled off 169 yards and one touchdown. While the Commanders defense has improved throughout the season, Smith should once again have a big game. The Washington defense will try to stop the Eagles best receiver, A.J. Brown, and that should give Smith more space to operate. Take his over on receiving yards and watch him torch this Commanders defense for the second time this season.
Devonta Smith Over 52.5 Yards
